I watched Love, Simon yesterday. God it was so good. I don't cry at movies very often, but this one was close.

There were some scenes from the book that I was sad they didn't include, but the casting was perfect and the acting was spot on. It was comedic, but serious, and it was so refreshing to sit in a theatre watching a mainstream production about a gay protagonist.

I've loved this book for soooo long, and I've been following the production of this film since it was first announced. I'm so glad I got to see it on opening day. It met all my expectations and blew them away.
