Sawyer and Finn exchanged bemused glances as they followed Biro through the backdoor of the house and around to the rear of the building. The view there was of a very large meadow with some areas fenced of with some kind of wire fencing. Dotted about in small groups were various animals grazing. Mainly goats, a few pigs and plenty of chickens, in some kind of an enclosure that apparently was to keep them safe from foxes. Butting directly onto the farmhouse there was the barn, which Sawyer had already been into, and joined onto the side of the barn was a kind of a shed, that looked almost like a garage. Biro pulled open the two big doors to it revealing some kind of a vehicle. It looked almost like the pictures Sawyer had seen of the moon buggy, except that the whole thing was topped by a huge sail. The wheels were also huge and balloon like, and there were three seats in a row, with what looked like reins looped over the central seat.

"You want a ride?" Biro asked with a gleam in his eye as he clamboured into the middle seat. "You two can have the honour of pushing me outside then" he said chuckling. Actually it was surprisingly easy to push, and once outside the two brothers jumped into the remaining seats. Biro took hold of the reins and released some kind of a long handled brake lever set in front of him. Immediately the strange contraption surged forwards and they rode accross the grass. The feel of the ride was different, sort springy and rocky, more like the motion of a camel or something, and not at all bumpy as they would have expected. Biro was obviously a very skilled driver as he controlled the kite more like a sailor would control his yaht. Depending on the wind they reached some impressive speeds. This was, Biro told them, an off road vehicle designed to let smallholders travel around their fields and meadows quickly, easily, and without cost. They skimmed around the whole of the property in this way and Sawyer and Finn were amazed at how beautiful and unspoilled it all was. There was also a stream, winding snake like, through the farmland, fast flowing for the most part, but with intrigueing little eddies and pools on the bends. "You know" said Biro "this little stream feeds our pond so it must also exist in your world." Agreeing Sawyer told him that most likely it would exist now as an underground culvert, as most brooks and streams had become altered in that way.

Expertly bringing the kite to a gentle stop Biro astonished Sawyer by turning to Finn and saying "would you like to have a drive of her?" Finns eyes lit up and he said "can I really?" he and Biro swapped places and then Biro explained to him the basic principles of steering and stopping, before saying "off we go then, lets see what you're made of." Finn released the brake and they lurched off. "Easy does it" cautioned Biro, "steer slightly into the breeze and try to judge the pressure of it. If you feel there isn't enough power then steer more with the wind, driving a kite is all about balancing speed with resistence." Eventually Biro took back the reins and drove them back to the little garage. Sawyer and Finn jumped down and pushed it back inside and then Biro jumped down and joined them.

"How comes I couldn't see you before?" Finn asked Biro. "I think that it was because I was still in my world and you was in yours. Sometimes my kind do see glimpses through the boundary but it rarely works the other way round. Once I crossed over into yours then you could see me." Sawyer asked his brother if he would give him a moment alone with Biro, as he had something of a private matter to speak to him about. Leaving Finn to poke around in the garage and have a better look at the kite the two off them strolled away a little. "I have a plan of sorts" said Sawyer, " I think I might have found the right sort of place where we would be able to live together. It's away from my village and family but using our kind of transport it will be a quick trip to be back here to visit our families and~and friends, your friends." Biro stopped walking and gently pulled Sawyer to him. He put his arm around Sawyers shoulders and then gently tilted his face up, kissing him so tenderly on his lips that it made Sawyer cry. Neither of them spoke a word and they continued with their stroll.

"Here" Sawyer said, producing the map of the tube trains that he had marked. "The circled parts are called stations, and these are where we get on and off of our trains. This circle right here! well it's about a 5 minutes walk from our pond.   And this circle here is where I propose we aim to find somewhere to live.  It's a place called Loughton, I warn you Biro it will be very different to what you are used to, but we will be together.  I don't know about you but that is what I want now in life." In answer Biro took hold of Sawyer and crashed his lips onto his, and a surprised Sawyer could feel Biro's hot tears coursing over his own face. "I~I g~guesse thats your answer then" Sawyer replied shakily. "We shouldn't waste time either angel, my mum is getting suspicious, she mustn't find out.   Shall we meet here again tomorrow and go to Loughton, and have a look around and see what possibilities there are for us there. Oh and please don't say a word to Finn yet, I will explain everything to him later."   They returned to join the other boy and then the three of them made their way back to the pond, where the brothers bade farewell to Biro, and then made their way back home, with Finn chattering excitedly and non stop about all of the wonders that his head was full of.
