The car ride was silent but it was comfortable in a way. Not awkward at all... Well it was until...

Maroon 5 came on and I blasted our eardrums, putting its volume at its fullest. Singing along with the lyrics. Arriving at the chorus, I sang even louder, not missing the glares from the people around.

"Your sugar.. Yes, please "  Nath gave me an amusing look, unable to hide his huge smile, forming on his face, "Won't you come and put it down on me? I'm right here, 'cause I need.. Little love, a little sympathy" I kept singing without a care in the world when, "Need a little sweetness in my life.. Your sugar.. Yes, please..Won't you come and put it down on me?" Another voice, that definitely did not belong to me, sang.

I looked at him, partly amused and partly shocked that he actually sang along with me...

How can he have such a good voice?

Sometime, I think that that dude is the definition of perfect!

"Cause I am, babe! Thought you would have noticed that a long time ago... I realised that you are much more stupid that you actuall-" , Smack, "Jeez woman! So much Violence!" He said dramatically, rubbing his head, the where I hit him. I smile in victory but it soon ended when he took a wrong turn.

This is not the turn you were suppose to take. Heck, this is not even my neighbourhood!

"Ugh... Where are we going?" I questioned. He ignored me and kept his head turned to the road. "NAth?!"

Is he planning to kill me?

Am I going to die?

I lived a good life...

Bless my collection of amine characters! I am going to miss you...

"That's too dramatic!" I thought, "Whatever... I didn't exactly have the definition of a good life anyway! My so-called parents may not even remember that they had a daughter!"

"What are you so quiet?" Nath finally decided to speak up.

"You never plan a murder out loud!"

"AHh! How much I have missed that sarcasm of yours, " He said sarcastically, rolling his eyes with a really cute smile, showing one of his dimples that I had apparently not noticed before. I narrowed my eyes at him, "Why?" He looked me weirdly before looking back at the road, "Why what?" He questioned glancing at me one more time before returning to the road.

"How can someone like...you," pointing at him, "be so..." I thought of something that would probably not give him the satisfaction that he is most likely to be the definition of perfect, "Perfect? I know... I get that a lot!" He said before I could even answer him.

I decided to go against him but before I could do so, he took and abrupt turn and in less that seconds we were already parked in front of an old diner. it looked like one of those old ones where the waiters are on skates and with songs from the 80' and then everyone start dancing...

...It's official that I have too many musicals when I was younger!

"Hello? Earth to Alex?!" Nath waved his hands in front of my face and I swatted them away before taking my steps towards the diner. He rolled his eyes at me and started walking, unbelievably quiet... But I took this unusual but comforting silence to finally feel at peace without Nath's stupid comments about everything and any- "Alexie, I would want you to know that once we enter this diner, you will be staying by my side all the time and don't interact with anyone! Understand?" Nath, promptly, turned me towards him, ruining my peaceful moment, and said making me look at him in the eyes. His beautiful, enthralled eyes.
