Good, I thought.

The Trio came and this time Vanessa and Napoleon has nothing to do with this.

Iza, with the duo, opened her locker...

It worked!

She smiled, then chuckled.

A small blue alien dog stuff toy was sitting on her locker and was clutching a familiar photo.

It was a picture when she was sleeping on my shoulder on the first day we met. Courtesy of a friend.

She took the photo and noticed the writings at the back, she read it.

I dashed to the school's parking lot.

"Meet me there." I had written. I was pertaining to the school bus that we first rode together.

I just hope we had the same thought in mind, I thought.

That's where it all started, where our story began.

MC tossed me the mic.

Then started their pre-performance ritual: The loud strumming of the guitar and the fast paced tempo.

Which of course, attracted the students to the parking lot.

And as the rockstars that they are, they situated themselves on the hoods of the nearby cars.

Iza came clutching the Stitch plushie, with the duo trailing behind her.

And as if on cue, MC played the song in a slow and lively tempo.

I gave her a reassuring smile.
