To say I am pissed would be the understatement of the century. I am beyond pissed at my father but more at my mother. How can a mother let a man kill her children like that? Because believe me as much as I love Brandon, I would gladly choose Carly over him any day. And he knows that.

I can't believe that a mother would sit back and let a man kill her children just because they are girls! She should have been excited about having daughters to decorate with, to go shopping with and to gossip with, not let some psycho kill them!

My poor sisters missed so much, moments and bonds that would never be created because of a greedy man and a spineless woman. Lord knows I wanted to kill that son a bitch that donated a sperm to me. Those people took three sisters from me!

I carefully got out of bed so that I don't wake Brandon up. I took a quick shower and put on a pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt before slipping on my slippers. I took a quick glance at Brandon before slipping out of the bedroom and going to the kitchen to make my mate some breakfast because he is so amazing.

As I was about to walk into the kitchen, I felt something change... someone just entered our territory.

"What's going on?" I mindlinked the guards checking the boarders at the moment.

"We have visitors." One of them answered. No shit Sherlock!

"I felt it. Who is it?" I asked. I can't be too hard with them as they need to know that I'm not and I won't be anything like my father.

"Sir, we are verifying their identity but they don't seem like they are here to cause trouble." The other guard said.

"Okay, tell me if you need help." I advised.

I was about to walk into the kitchen, again, but was stopped by a knock on the front door. Seriously people, I need to make  breakfast for my mate!

I opened the door only to be tackled by an overgrown baby - Niall. Man his scent  is comforting.

"Morning Alpha." I greeted with amusement in my voice.

"Forget about me! Look at you Mr Alpha!" He stepped back and looked at me. "How are you doing?"

"I'm good. Now where is my baby?" I asked as I looked behind him only to see her in Liam's arms. "Hey baby, come here." I took her in my arms and brought her closer to my chest for a hug. Man I have missed her.

"Don't worry, she was good." Niall said with a smile. I smiled and thanked them.

"I was about to make breakfast. Why don't you come in and lay Connor on the couch whole I make breakfast?" I suggested and we all walked in.

"Now who are these little ones." I heard the sweet voice of my mother. She sounds genuine but I can't let my guard down.

"Now why would you want to know? So that you can kill the little girl if I say she is the next hair?" I asked with disgust.

"You are never going to forgive me, are You?" She looked sad as she said that but I can't fall for her tricks, I have to protect my daughter. The next alpha of this pack.

"No. I'm never going to forgive anyone that killed my siblings and made my childhood a living hell. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to make my daughter some breakfast." I tried passing by her but she stopped me.

"That's my granddaughter?" She asked with tears in her eyes.

"No. This is my daughter, Karen's granddaughter." I said the name of the woman that has played the role of a mother from the moment she met me. The same woman that spoiled my daughter just as much as she spoils her biological grandchild.

I walked into the kitchen and sat Carly on one of the highchairs in the kitchen. "Where is Karen anyway?" I asked.

"She is behind us with Jordan, Lilly and Brent." Brent is Jordan and Lilly's son, he is four years old. Jordan and Lilly went to get Niall and company.

Niall and I finished making breakfast and I took Carly upstairs with me to wake Brandon up. I know he didn't sleep until he was sure that I won't be waking up in the middle of the night and I just want to show him how much I appreciate him. Plus I think he would love being woken up by his daughter who he hasn't seen in days.

"Go say morning to daddy." I set her on the bed right next to Brandon. I watched her crawl up to be next to his face before putting her hands on his face and squealing once before chanting "dada".

I watched Brandon snap his eyes open and look at our daughter. I watched as his eyes light up and a smile spread up on his face. I watched as he pulled her closer and inhaled her scent, just as I had  done when I saw her at the door.

And as I stood there, watching my mate be happy to see his daughter, I know that she is safe - we are safe. As I stood there watching my mate and daughter interact and be happy with each other, I realise I wouldn't have it any other way.

I realise I have nothing to worry about.
