Jin's POV (queen)

"Thank you again for covering for Cassia today" Jin sighed into the phone.

"No problem, tell me if you need help with anything else and tell Cassie I said hi" Yoongi mumbled.

"I will, cheers Yoongi"

"Bye Jin"

Call ended...

Namjoon placed a hot cup of tea before Jin. "Thank you" Jin whispered and lovingly looked up at his boyfriend.

"What did he say?" Namjoon sat down next to him on the kitchen table, placing his hand on Jin's knee.

"Everything went fine. Their boss doesn't check in on them too often so he won't even know Cassia didn't come to her shift today. Yoongi said to call again if we need more help." Jin explained and took a sip of the strong, black tea.

11 p.m.

"Is she asleep?"

Namjoon softly nodded. "He's with her"

V, Taehyung. Jin took another sip. He still wasn't used to someone being so close to his Cassia other than him. He felt as though he had to protect her in a way.

"I'll go check on them" he decided and got up, Namjoon grinned and shook his head but didn't comment on it.

When Jin walked into the dark living room, which was only illuminated by the city lights glimmering through the many windows of Namjoon's apartment, he stopped in his tracks at the sight in front of his eyes.

Cassia was passed out on the big leather couch, her head resting on Taehyung's lap, their hands intertwined. He was fast asleep as well, head fallen to the side. One hand holding onto Cassia's and one in her hair.

Cassia's body was covered by a fluffy blanket, shoes scattered on the floor. Taehyung still had his shoes on.

Jin stared at them for a little longer, their close proximity. They looked like they had known each other for years, completely comfortable with each other. Taehyung's chest rose and fell, a small yawn coming from his lips.

Maybe he should give the guy a chance. Cassia seemed to trust him. No, Cassia definitely trusted Taehyung. Otherwise she would have never told him about her past. Jin knew that she had told him right away when he saw them come back out of the room, both with red, puffy eyes, intertwined hands and shy smiles on their lips.

Jin liked to joke about Cassia's dating life because she was always too busy or not interested to go out with someone but now that he saw her like this, it seemed that no one would ever be good enough for her, at least in his eyes. Cassia had already gone through so much, Jin didn't know if she could handle a broken heart and he definitely didn't want to find out.
