Chapter 15

Ben's P.O.V.

I woke up and felt someone next to me. I looked down to see I was hugging Evalina. I felt my face heat. I carefully brought my arms away as she continued to sleep. I went and took a quick shower and changed. When I came out of the bathroom I laughed because I saw Eva and Josh watching 1992 Newsies.

I started laughing and took out my phone and took a picture. I posted it on my instagram. "Looks like someone finally woke up." I said while laughing.

"Yeah, well that's because Josh started singing and I woke up to that." Evalina said. Josh simply smiled. "You guys wanna go get breakfast?" Josh asked. "I would but I kind of have to go change." She said gesturing to her outfit which consisted of our clothes.

"I'll wash them and give them back tomorrow." She said. "Its fine, neither of us would mind. Right, Ben?" Josh said looking at me with a smirk. I felt my face heat up. "Yeah, it's fine."

"Alright, if you're sure. I'll come back here in about thirty minutes so we can go grab breakfast." She said as she walked out of the hotel room.

I looked at Josh who couldn't stop smiling. "I sent you a picture." He said as he went to enter the bathroom to change and shower. I checked my phone and saw a picture he must've taken when Evalina and I fell asleep. I already knew my face was red as a tomato.

Evalina's P.O.V.

I changed into some jeans, a deep crimson button up, some black fingerless gloves, and a gray cardigan. I put on my glasses and made sure my contacts were still in.

I grabbed my camera and began making my way back to the hotel. I knocked on their door and Ben answered. "So do you have any plans for where we're going to get breakfast" I asked. "Somewhere with bacon. For sure." Josh said causing Ben and I to laugh. "Alright is anyone else coming with us?" I asked.

"Just Sky." Josh skipped to the door across the hall and did the frozen knock. "Do ya wanna build a snowman-" before he could continue Sky opened the door and yelled "NO!"

Ben's P.O.V.

"NO!" Sky yelled. This caused Evalina and I to laugh really hard. "You ready to go, Skybelle?" Josh asked. "Yes." Evalina was still laughing. Her laugh is so perfect.

"Sky, has anyone ever told you you look like Peter Pan?" Evalina asked him. "Not that I can think of but I will take that as a compliment." He said. She shrugged.

So we made our way to a nearby iHop. A waiter sat us down and asked us what we wanted. "So what can I get you all?" She started with Josh. "Can I have a plate of just bacon?" The lady stared at him in disbelief. "I'm just kidding, can I have a tuxedo pancake combo." She wrote it down. "May I have a Strawberry'N Cream Pancake Combo ?" Sky asked.

"May I have a Belgium waffle combo with scrambled eggs instead of fried?" Evalina asked. "Sure thing sweetheart, how about you?" "Can I have a French toast combo" I asked. She nodded and wrote them down.

"What can I get y'all to drink?" We all told her what we wanted and she left to get them. Evalina's phone started ringing. She visibly paled. We all looked at her concerned. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, I just need take this phone call." I moved out of our booth so she could go outside and answer the call.

There was a tension in the air that non elf us wanted to break. "Who do you think called her? She seemed really uncomfortable." Josh said analyzing the situation. "You're right, I've never seen her act like that before." Sky said. After a few minutes our food had arrived.

Evalina walked back in and sat back down looking perplexed. "Are you okay?" I asked. She shrugged. "Could be better, could be worse." "If you don't mind me asking, who called?"

Evalina visibly shuddered. "It was my father. He doesn't want me on tour but I've already made up my mind." She said sighing.

"Are you guys excited for tour?" Evalina asked. "Yeah, it'll be nice to travel around the states." Sky said. "In just excited to share Newsies with everyone." Josh said. "I'm excited to travel too." I said.

"Oh yeah, Josh do you want my bacon?" He looked at her surprised causing Sky and I to laugh. "Yes." She pushed her bacon onto his plate. Sky took a picture and posted it. We all laughed.

All of us continued to eat and eventually finished. We split the bill. "Alright I have some business to take care of. I'll see you guys at rehearsals. Bye." Evalina said as she left in a rush.

"I wonder what's up with her?" Sky asked. "Maybe it has to do with the phone call she got." Josh suggested. With that we made our way back to the hotel.
