Chapter 17

Evalina's P.O.V.

I woke up and felt sore. I sighed. I changed into some black jeans and a royal blue button up. I grabbed a grey cardigan and Newsies cap. I took out my contacts because my eyes were slightly burning. I put on my glasses and made my way out of the hotel. I looked back at Stephanie to make sure she was still asleep. 

I walked out and went to get something for breakfast. I went to a nearby place that sold exotic teas. I got some Drum Mountain White Cloud Tea and a croissant. Interesting name and interesting flavor.  I was gonna walk back to the hotel when I received a text. 

BF: Hey, how are you?

Me: I'm fine, I'm currently in New York

BF: With your uncle?

Me: Sort of, I'm also the Newsies touring
photographer and standby in a sense

BF: That's great I'm so proud! I told you
you could do great things

Me: Yeah, yeah, I'm not all that great

BF: Suurrreeee

Me: So how's your Irish Tap dancing going

and track?

BF: Good I would ask the same but I'm 
sure that photography is going well
how's dance? it's been nine or eight years

Me:Well as of two weeks ago I danced as 
Sniper on Newsies, last night I danced and 
sung for Sniper as well

BF: Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you sing or
dance in a while ༼ つ ಥ_ಥ ༽つ I must see you 
perform

Me: I'm going on tonight but I don't do solos

BF: I will come visit you one day just to hear you 
sing

Me: ﴾͡๏̯͡๏﴿ O'RLY? 

BF: I have a plan set in mind ;} just you wait

Me: Fine if you visit me I will sing you a song 

BF: Yay! Also can we do our dance like old times? 

Me: Fine, old man

BF: I'm only a year older than you no need to call me 
old (ಥ﹏ಥ)

Me: My family came last night 

BF: Oh my goodness! Are you alright?
Ya know you worry me.

Me: Just a couple scratches and bruises.
Don't worry, the people here have started to
 become like family to me

BF: Are they replacing me? ಠ_ಠ (;'༎ຶД༎ຶ')

Me: No one could ever replace you, old man

BF: I'll take that as a compliment, love you too, hun
(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ ✧ﾟ･: *ヽ(◕ヮ◕ヽ)

Me: Yeah yeah, love you too

BF: I got to go but I'l see you soon

Me: What do you mean, you're in another state?

BF: Facetime, duh

Me: Alright, bye, old man

BF: Baii ♪~ ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ

I laughed, he sure is crazy. I began walking around. I might as well explore. I began walking around taking scenic pictures. I was taking a picture of a cute cafe when someone came up behind me and and put their hands on my shoulders. "Boo!" I sighed. "You know I don't get scared easily. 

I turned to face Sky. "I just finished eating breakfast and saw you." He said. "Thanks for helping me out last night." She said smiling. "No problem." Sky said. "What are your plans for today?" Evalina asked. "Nothing much, what about you?" "I'm going to explore. You can join me if you want." Evalina suggested. 

Sky nodded. That's when two more people came running down the street. "Wait up!" The figures of Josh and Ben came into view. "Are you two always together?" "No, it's just when you see us." Ben said. 

"We were just about to head out and explore do you guys want to come too?" Evalina asked. "Sure." They agreed. Ben stood next to Josh. "All three of you get close I'm gonna take a picture. I'll do one silly one and one regular one." She said. The three boys got together making silly faces then they smiled in the second one. 

Ben looked at Evalina. "Your eyes..." He said examining her face. Josh looked at her eyes too. "You have a blue eye and a green eye, but I thought your eyes were blue." "Yeah, I have heterochromia.  I wear colored contacts but my eyes were irritated this morning. Most people hate them. I used to get made fun of for it and my parents made me get colored contacts because they didn't like the way it looked." She said shyly looking down. 

"Beautiful..." Ben whispered. "Your eyes are beautiful just the way they are." He whispered. "I think your eyes look amazing, they make you even more unique." Josh said smiling. "They're really pretty too." Sky said. "Thanks guys." Evalina said smiling. 

They all decided on going to the park. On their way there Sky, Ben, and Josh began doing Newsies choreography. Evalina laughed and took a video posting it on the Newsies instagram. 

"You guys are so silly." She said laughing. They all walked together. The four of them spent a majority of their day joking around taking pictures and exploring. They got lunch and talked about random things. Eventually it was time for the show. Before they went inside Ben stopped Evalina. "You know, you're kind of dressed like Jack Kelly." He said laughing as the two of them walked in behind Josh and Sky. 

Evalina looked at her outfit. "I guess I do look like a modern day Jack Kelly." She said giggling at her appearance. "I'm gonna start calling you Jack or Kelly or Cowboy." He said laughing even more. "Yeah yeah, laugh all you want." She said laughing. 

"Am I going on again tonight?" She asked. "I think so. Ginna Claire is feeling better but we don't want to risk it, she'll be better by tomorrow though." Ben said. "Alright. Wish me luck." Evalina said. "Only good!" Ben shouted as he walked in an opposite direction.
