3rd Person P.O.V.
"Mother." She breathed out. Evalina's mom, dad, and brother were all standing there in front of her. Sending accusing glares at her. Ben, Josh, and Sky all looked at her concerned. "Yes, we came to visit you tonight. To try to convince you to drop out but it appears there was something else you weren't telling us." Her mother said.
Fear flashed through Evalina's eyes but she kept her composure. "It was an emergency, I'm just the photographer." Evalina said. "It didn't appear that way when we were watching." Evalina's father said. Evalina ushered for Ben, Josh, and Sky to keep going but they were at the end of the line. The boys had no intention of leaving her in this situation unless they were leaving with her.
The hostile looks Evalina was earning from her family were enough to make anyone cower. Before Evalina could even respond she felt a hand come down on her face. Her mother's hand remained in the air. Evalina ran her hand against her cheek to comprehend what just happened. Her mother, just slapped her. Blood smeared on her hand, her cheek had been scratched or scarred by the pointy rings her mother had been wearing.
"It's been a while since we've sparred hasn't it?" Her brother asked. He smirked, he had always been the more powerful sibling, he wanted Evalina to feel the shame in front of her friends that he felt in front of everyone when around her. "Yes but now is not the time or the place." Her brother grabbed her wrist and dragged her to a secluded area in which their parents followed. Josh, Sky, and Ben were all standing in place in shock.
"Did that really just happen?" Josh asked. Sky nodded. Meanwhile Evalina's brother got out a staff. "It's about time we settled this Once and For All." He charged towards his sister with a malice intent.
He refused to let her silently stand like a coward, she had to face him. Evalina quickly dodged, this is exactly what she didn't want. This wasn't your average sibling rivalry, Evalina's brother hated her. Every little thing about her ticked him off.
Evalina was glad she came prepared. Now, I know what you're thinking, how could she come prepared for a fight? Well, anytime Evalina and her brother had been reunited after a period of time he would spar her and she always had to be ready. Evalina carried daggers around her, not all the time but just in case if she ran into her brother.
She dodged again and again, occasionally hitting him in the process. He was upset.
He always felt the need to one up her. Evalina felt the staff hit her arm. "That's gonna bruise." she muttered to herself. "It's time we prove who the stronger sibling is." He came and hit her with the staff. Evalina sat there calmly. He hit her back, she slightly flinched. She stood up.
"I won, no more battles. Leave me alone." "What are you talking about? I obviously wo-." He said but when he tried to move he couldn't. He looked down to see his pants stuck to the ground with her daggers.
Everyone was quiet as Evalina began walking away. Ben, Sky, and Josh came running. They looked at her to see her slightly scratched up. "I feel so tired." She said as she began falling. Ben caught her and carried her bridal style. "We should get her back to the hotel." Ben said looking at Evalina concerned.
Luckily the hotel was close to the theater so they could walk there. Josh carried their stuff and Ben carried Evalina. Sky went to tell the others they would be a little late to the opening night party.
They got her to hotel room she shared with Stephanie. "Evalina go get changed." Ben ushered. She carefully got up and grabbed Josh's shirt, some addidas pants, and Ben's hoodie. She changed quickly in the bathroom and came back out. "Thanks for bringing me back. I'm gonna go to bed, have fun at the opening night party."
"Not so fast, we gotta patch up your cheek." Josh said. Evalina frowned. Ben went and got a first aid kit. They cleaned the wound and put a bandage. "Thanks guys." "No problem, you're family." Josh said. She smiled at them. Ben and Josh left to the opening night party.
Hello, hello, hello lovely Fansies. Since Josh and Ben have tied I will make two stories one for each of them both of which you will be able to find on my account. They will probably have slow updates because sadly I am starting school again on Monday so on all stories that had chapters everyday will probably have chapters once a week or once every other week. Please be patient only nine weeks until I'm out of school and can publish once a day hopefully. I want to thank you guys for actually taking the time to read this story, hopefully tomorrow I will have one chapter out for each Newsie story and that includes the new ones. As a teaser the covers are down below. Please please please vote if you are enjoying the story and have a wonderful day.
