Chapter 32

3rd Person P.O.V.

"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Nico, happy birthday to you!" Everyone sang as they were all huddled together on the stair case. Nico stood by a a cute cake that said 'Happy Birthday Nico!' as he smiled brightly at everyone. "Aww, thanks you guys." He said with a smile. Everyone  said variations of 'your welcomes' as he began to cut the cake along with others passing it out smiling. "I feel real bad I'm sorry I didn't get you anything Nico." "Nah, it's fine Katie. I mean we technically haven't even known each other for a day." Nico said with a smile. But what he didn't know was that he still had one more surprise coming for the day. The cast had arranged for his girlfriend to come today since they hadn't seen  each other in a long time. 

Ben and Evalina were going to pick her up as everyone else distracted him and kept him out on the stage. "So...." Ben said as they were in the taxi. "How have you been doing the past month it's been a while since we've.... hung out?" Ben said unsurely. "Busy with work, tired, the usual. How about yourself?" Evalina asked trying to avoid  bringing up why she had been so busy when in fact she was just surrounding herself with work, attempting to avoid the inevitable. "Oh you know just doing the show hanging out with the others. How's your other job been?" Ben asked curious. "It's umm.... it's going. Very interesting. I-uhh, actually well. I don't know if Sky told you but you're going to be coming with me to wherever I'm going next." Evalina said. "Yeah he told us in the dressing room. Do you know where we're headed?" He asked her with a slight smile. 

"Either London or Chicago." Ben looked at her with an incredulous look. "London?" He choked out. Evalina smiled slightly bashful. "Uhh yeah. I have to go.... meet a lot of people. My job tkaes me all sort of places." Evalina said. "Tell me about them." Ben said. Evalina looked at him surprised. "You want me to tell you about everywhere I've been?" She asked curiously. He nodded his head vigorously. "Well I guess I'll start off in Italy, where I was born..." 

The two of them spent the next hour talking about places they've been not a singly awkward silence in between the two of them. It was like the past month hadn't even happened. Eventually they got to the airport. They paid the driver and told them to wait saying they'd be right back. As they walked around the airport for about three minutes they finally spotted her at baggage claim. "Hey Paige!" Ben shouted. Paige smiled and ran over and hugged Ben and Evalina. "Hey guys! How have you been?" "Good. How was your flight?" "Not to long but their was this kid screaming." Paige said shaking her head. "Nico will be so excited to meet you. Also, on a side note, we got a new cast member!" Ben said as he helped grab her bag. 

"Nice what's her name." "Katie." Ben and Evalina said at the same time. "Like Cady Heron?" "No, Katie. K-A-T-I-E." Evalina said. "She seems nice.  Sweet girl, a wee bit on the shy end." Evalina noted. "Please, I'm sure she can't be as shy as Evalina was when I first met her." Paige said with a teasing smile. Evalina blushed slightly, grumbling quiet insults causing Ben and Paige to laugh. The three of them caught up throughout the car ride as they got to their destination. 

"Seriously guys. Why have you been stalling?" Nico asked. "Uhh, what do you mean?" Sky asked. "You haven't let me leave our floor for the past hour and a half. Even when I just want to go get my foam roller." He complained. "That's because we believe hat on your birthday you shouldn't have to do anything." Nick said. Nico gave him a suspicious look. "But holing me up in a room isn't any better." "He's right, maybe we should let him go." Chaz said with a smile as he looked down on his phone. "Yeah plus I really want a piece of cake." Nico said. There was a knock on the door. The door opened and someone held out a plate with two pieves of cake. "I heard someone really wanted some cake." she said. 

Nico jumped out of his seat and engulfed them in a hug. "Paige! Wha? How? You're actually here?" He asked confused. "I couldn't miss my boyfriend's birthday now could I." Nico hugged her again and kissed her. "I'm so glad you're here." "If it weren't for all these rascals I wouldn't be." She said as she gestured around the room. Nico smiled at all of them with glassy eyes. "This is the best birthday gift ever, thank you guys." Evalina and Ben came from behind the door. "You guys were in on it too!" Nico cried, of hapiness of course. "You betcha. Why do you think we were gone for so long and why you weren't allowed to leave the floor. Someone had to keep you distracted and made sure that Evalina and I weren't missing." Ben said. "So you guys being with Dan and Steph?" "Not real. They were keeping guard for us so they could know when to text Chaz or one of the others that they got here." Stephanie said from the hall. 

"Thank you guys so, so much." Nico said hugging them. The toursies were smiling as they recorded it. "No problem. Anything for our handshake buddy." Anthony said. Vince just nodded in response. The day continued with all of them hanging out, the occasional trading and banter. After all was over they headed to the hotel. As Evalina reached her door and unlocked it someone ran past her entering. She gave them a slight glare as they had jumped on her bed in the oddest of poses. "Story time!" Sky sang .

Evalina sighed dreadfully knowing that she's have to reveal herself. "So... I guess I should start with when I first got a drawing pad." "A drawing pad?"
