"What are you?" I asked automatically

"You're not going to believe me if I tell you" he said sincerly

I looked at him unsure if I was really ready to find out, but after tonight I had to. I had to know.

"If your sure, I'm a fallen angel" he said calmly

I laughed, I couldn't help it but I did. He was right, I didn't believe him. Angels, fallen or otherwise didn't exist.

"You're mad, your absolutly bloody mad" I said

"I said you wouldn't believe me, but I'm telling you the truth"

"You can't be a fallen angel, they don't exist. They are just bedtime stories for children"

"We are very real Sky, and the people who are after you are very real too"

"S let me get this straight, I have this gift that I've inherited from my parents and you are a fallen angel, and the people who killed my parents and my best friend are what... Fallen angels too?"

"Yes, your father was a fallen too, that is how you have managed to obtaine your gift."

"Okay, say I actually believe your delusions and my dad was a fallen and I do have this gift you keep talking about, what is it?"

Parker stayed silent like he didn't know how to explain. "You are able too sense the presence for the fallen"

"I don't believe you"

"When you first met me, how did you feel?"

"I wanted to stay away from you" I said a little too coldly

"You're hiding things Sky" he said as he started to walk

Following him I noticed his car was parked about a mile down from the beach. Parker opened the passenger door and I slipped inside, automatically I clipped the seatbelt in place. Parker got inside and slammed the door shut, he turned the key in the ignition and pulled away. I sat the whole drive home quiet. I thought about the day my mom and dad died, about the night Kaye died, about the day I met Parker and about the day someone broke into my house.

They all had one thing in common, the gut renching feeling I had that told me something was wrong and was always followed by a shiver. Maybe Parker was telling the truth, but I had a feeling he wasn't telling me everything.

As Parker pulled up my driveway, I looked at the clock on the dashboard. It had gone two in the morning, my aunt was going to be mad, and I wasn't sure I could listen to her ranting and raving, but I had no other option. I had to face her. I got out of the car, I told Parker to come by tomorrow so we could continue our little talk, and made my way p the porch stairs.

Opening the door I braced myself for the screaming, but it never came. Not wanting to push my luck any further I went upstairs and got ready for bed. I hadn't realised how tired I actually was until I laid down, as soon as my head hit the pillows I was out.

Too exhausted to do anything I just slept, no dreams, no worries. Just a pair of black wings wrapped around me.

I woke to banging and shouting downstairs, slowly I made my way down the stairs. Stopping on the middle step I tried to listen, my aunt was shouting at someone. But from where I was I couldn't hear a thing. I descended the stairs and hid in the living room, which was closer to the kitchen.

"-- I can't do this anymore--"

My aunt was saying, I didn't catch the rest as a man caught my attention. I gasped as I recalled the man, he was the same blue eyed and blonde haired man Parker kept me so quiet against the night before.
