Chapter Twenty Nine

I let out a deep sigh as I tried to fix my hair while looking at my reflection on the mirror.

I bit my lower lip and played with my fingers as I sat next to Jaebum who's just staring at nothing in particular.

I elbowed him and he raised his brows at me which made me laugh a little.

I looked at Bambam who's busy posing. It's his turn now and I can't wait for this photoshoot to be over.

I badly want to see my wife and daughter.

"You want to see the baby already?" Jaebum asked.

I smiled like an idiot and bobbed my head at him.

I almost screamed in excitement when we are already done.

I immediately changed my clothes and ran inside our car. I pulled my phone out from my pocket to text my wife.

Are you still awake? Im on my way home. Love you! (:

They dropped me off first because they know how giddy I am. I really miss my daughter!

My wife keeps on sending picture of our daughter and I cant help but to admire how beautiful she is.

When I got out of the car, I waved at the boys immediately. I opened the gate by myself and ran inside the door.

The lights in the living room is still open even the lights in the kitchen but Lauren is not even here. Is she asleep?

I ran upstairs and when I reached our room, I opened it carefully afraid that I'll make a sound that will wake the baby up if ever she's sleeping.

I was surprised when I saw that Lauren is still awake. Her hair is tied up in a messy bun and she keeps on yawning. She looks so tired yet beautiful.

"Hello..." I mouthed.

I put my duffel bag on the corner and hurriedly went towards her to give her a quick peck on her lips.

"I love you." I said as I kissed her once again.

I looked at our baby and unconsciously smiled when I saw how she's sleeping peacefully. How can she look so perfect in my eyes?

I shook my head because of the feeling inside my chest. I am sure as hell that I am exhausted because of all the work that I've done but seeing my wife and daughter like this makes all of that go away.

Lauren got up from the bed after gently kissing the cheek of our little princess. She went towards me and gave me a hug burying her face on my chest.

I kissed the top of her head while caressing her hair. I hugged her thight.

I love this woman so much. I love her with all of my heart. I dont even know what will I do without all of this.

My love for her is just too much and now that she gave me a daughter. Now that we have a daughter, it just became more magical.

"Did you eat?" She asked me looking up.

I pouted and bobbed my head at her. I put one of my hand on her cheeks caressing it a little.

She's been staying up all night for the past days because of our little one keeps on crying at night. I want to take over her place but our baby likes her mother's presence so much. She'll only stop if her mother is the one carrying her.

"Yes, baby. You? Did you even eat, huh?" I asked scanning her face.

She lost some weight. I thought that once she gave birth, she'll gain weight but it's the other way around. Maybe it's because she's not getting much sleep.
