The Saturday night show went amazing.

We take our final bows.

I squeeze Pippa's hands as she looks into my eyes.

I hear a scream from the audience.

"HE HAS A GUN!" Someone shouts

*BOOM*

The audience is screaming

Pippa was struck right in the ribs

She falls to the ground lifeless

Jasmine shrieks

Renee gasps horrified

"EVERYONE GET OFF THE STAGE" Chris shouts

I stand there in shock

"L-L-Lin we- come on, we're calling an ambulance." Anthony stutters pulling on my arm but I stand there letting tears roll down my cheek.

Daveed takes off his shirt and wraps it around Pippas side, trying to control the bleeding.

"Lin, you cant-" Leslie comes up to me but I turn around and growl

"No!"

I fall to my knees by her side and sob.

The paramedics come and take Pippa away in seconds.

The car ride to the hospital was silent. So silent it was scary. All you heard every now and then was sniffs and silent sobs.

"Please I HAVE too see her!!" I scream as Leslie Oak Daveed and Groff try to hold me back.

"Please sir, you have to wait." A nurse tells me

We sit in the waiting room all night. Nobody speaks.

Eventually the sun goes up. And still no doctor has come out.

A man in a white coat comes our way.

I realize it's a doctor.

Everyone jumps to there feet.

"Please, she's a-alive right?" I beg

"She's alright, but I'm afraid she's not doing well." He sighs

"What-what does that mean?" I choke

"She's in serious condition right now, we were able to get the bullet out which I'm going to be honest was a miracle. She's not awake and probably won't be for a long time. but you can come see her. She can still hear everything and is thankfully not brain dead." states

"Just one person at a time thought." He says stopping all us from walking

"Lin, go see her." Renee said giving a small smile

I walk into her room and she is laying there hooked up to machines with a oxygen mask over her face.

I put my hand over my mouth and sob.

"I'll leave you two alone for now, I will be back to check up on her later, if anything happens please buzz for a nurse." The doctor said and leaves.

"Pippa I'm so so sorry baby, this is all my fault. I-I should have taken the bullet for you." I sob holding her hand.

"I love you. We love you." I said choking on sobs

I walk out still crying and Renee comforts me.

Eventually everyone goes home. But I just can't leave her side.

"Sir, visitors have to leave now." A nurse tells me

"I-um ok" i said and kiss Pips hand.

I get home and call family.

Every news channel is talking about what happened

I wake up to knocks on my door and groan.

It's too early.

I open the door to see Anthony and Jasmine, her face is red and tear stained from crying.

"Hey bro, we just gonna drop off some coffee." Anthony said handing me coffee

"Thank you." I say giving my best fake smile

I look like a mess but they don't mind.

Jasmine hugs me.

"She'll be just fine Lin." She said

"I really hope so." I said looking down

I grab my phone and look at all my text messages.

They were all from yesterday night.

Alex: What the hell was that?

Jas: Get down here FAST!

Tommy: I'm getting an ambulance

Renee: someone please come to the dressing rooms I can't get to calm down jasmine, she's having a panic attack

Ant: I'm coming, Jon come to the stage and stay with Lin

Jon: ok.

Chris: The ambulance just arrived I'm trying to clear traffic for it.

Alex: is anybody else injured?

Oak: Some of the audience is, the cops should be here by now

Daveed: Everyone meet us at the hospital

I shiver at all the text messages.

I look at the messages from my family and Pips family.

Mom: Lin!!! Please answers us were so worried what's happening!!
