A/N
I've been planning last chapter's plot twist for quite a while now. So, it's not like I just thought of it in the moment.

Hence, I tried to include a bunch of hints on chapters before the last one.

I want to know if any of you guys notice them because it will be nice if someone did 😂

I push the door to the abandoned classroom slowly, trying not to be heard. However, the distinctive squeak of the metal hinges is quite noticable and at the sound of it, Garrett Carson snaps his head back to where I'm standing.

"Luna!" he shouts, pushing his seat back. "I didn't think you would come."

His eyes are widen and his mouth slightly gapes. I can't tell if he's more shocked or happy. But from the look in his eyes, I know that he's been hoping to see Luna again.

I can't help but snicker at his reaction.

Not giving any other response, I walk towards him casually.

"I went to see Mr. Alan and told him I want to stop this deal." I state tonelessly before clearing my throat. "He agreed and so, Park Min Soo will be tutoring you from now on."

Hearing this, Garrett's face drains of color and his face falls instantly. The look of delightful surprise in his eyes are replaced with displeasure.

"Oh," he mutters.

"Yeah. So, I guess class is cancelled then. You can go to football practice early," I say, before making a turn to walk out of the classroom.

"Wait, Luna."

My feet halt to a stop and I turn my head around towards the red-headed boy.

"What now?" I ask.

Garrett bites his bottom lip before scrunching his thick eyebrows. Seeing him do that, I can see how a girl like Luna could've fallen so easily. His face seems so friendly and right now, so vulnerable and trustworthy. Luna would probably eat up anything he has to say.

Unfortunately for him, I'm not her and I just feel annoyed looking at his 'puppy dog' eyes.

"Is it true? That... you want to make me pay for what I did?"

He looks at me hopefully as if he's asking for a nod or some sort of indication, but when I don't respond, he let out a sigh and continue.
