"Hey Savannah," Ricky said, standing by the curtain to the bunks. "Can I speak with you for a second?"

I stood, confused, but followed him to the bunk area. "What's up?" I asked.

He looked at me, then down at his feet. He seemed nervous, but I didn't know why. "I..." he began, trailing off.

"Ricky, are you okay?" I placed my hand on his shoulder. "You can tell me anything. You know that."

"I know," he mumbled. "I just don't know how to say it."

I lifted his chin so he could see me. "Take your time." I said gently. "What's bothering you?"

He took a deep breath before speaking. "I...like you. A lot. More than you think."

I looked at him for a second. "You do?"

He began to gain confidence in his words and nodded. "I have for a while now. I know you and Chris flirt and all that, but I want you to know that I really like you."

"Ricky," I said, placing my hand on his cheek. "What's going on between me and Chris is nothing serious. I would rather be with you. I really like you too."

He smiled, pulling me into a tight hug. "Thank you," he said softly, nuzzling my neck. I smiled and pulled away after a few minutes. He looked me in the eyes, his blue eyes glowing with happiness.

He leaned forward, and I did too. Our lips brushed against each other before fully touching. His kiss was soft, but passionate. We took a step back and I was pressed against the wall between two rows of bunks. He pressed his body against mine, leaving no space between us. I tangled my fingers in his hair with one hand, my other hand on his collarbone. He had one hand on my lower back and one on the back of my neck, holding us in place. He turned his head slightly, sliding deeper into the kiss. He ran his tongue across my lower lip, asking permission. I allowed, and our tongues battled for dominance, his leading in the end. I gently pulled on his lower lip with my teeth, earning a moan from him. He smiled into the kiss, as did I. We pulled away, breathless and grinning.

"Well, lovebirds, isn't that cute?" Chris teased, holding the curtain open as he and Kayla watched.

We looked at them, smirking. "Get out of here, Chris," Ricky threw a nearby shoe at him. Chris closed the curtain and I heard him say to Kayla "It's about time they got together."

I turned back to Ricky, who was smiling down at me. "Wanna cuddle and watch a movie?" he asked. I nodded and he stepped back from me before I climbed into his bunk. He followed and closed the curtain.

Ricky laid down in the bunk and I curled up to him, my head resting on his chest. He flipped through movies on Netflix before finding one we both liked. We watched the movie and cuddled before I began to doze off.
