Madras Central

Rajan somewhat escaped from the hospital and ran towards the Central Railway Station in order to runaway from Stinson, before he found out that he was the one who helped the Bandits in stealing the money. Rajan took a ticket and immediately boarded the train which was on the platform without thinking much about the destination. All he wanted was to be alive and live freely. Meanwhile James reaches the hospital and looks out for Rajan. He searches the whole hospital and comes to the conclusion that Rajan has fled. Even though Rajan and James were not together, they had the same thought in their mind. "Stinson is going to kill me for this."

Sitaram kept looking at Anamika, as his handcuffs were being removed. He then walked towards her and just kept staring at her eyes. "Those Blue eyes.. makes me forget everything.. it takes me to another world where only we both are present.." said Sitaram. Anamika immediately hugged him and asked what he was doing in jail. "The truth will be revealed in a few moments, when I speak to the Governor-General. What are you doing here? I didn't expect to see you at all, after our meeting in the train" replied Sitaram. "I am a doctor and I heard there was an increase in the number of patients in the hospitals of Madras. So I came here to help them" said Anamika. "I am just happy to see you. Was worrying about your leg. How is it?" Anamika then checked Sitaram's injured leg. "It's fine. I got operated and took rest before ending up here, behind the bars. It's not a good thing for me, especially when I am thinking of joining the Air Force. I wonder what Rahman would be thinking?" Sitaram started looking towards the door as someone was entering in. A person who worked at the Governor-General's office came with a telegram. Stinson took the telegram and read it. "Sir, it says Subhash Chandra Bose is coming to Madras and British Raj wants us to provide accommodation for him." "Oh dear Lord! It's the fifth time this month already and we are only 20 days into the month. Why couldn't he stay here for a month, instead of roaming everywhere" the Governor-General started shouting. "Stinson please look into that. And also call that Sitaram. Ask him to speak immediately. I have to look after a pile of files back at the office." Stinson then called Sitaram. Sitaram came to the other side of the room, where they were sitting. He started speaking, "Governor-General Sir. Colonel Stinson. I will tell you the truth. It was Rajan. He was the one who asked us to guard the money. He was the one who joined hands with the Bandits and stole the money. I tried to explain this to Colonel Stinson, but he didn't listen to me or my friend Rahman. I hope you will take the necessary action and leave us." The Governor-General was shocked. He never expected a man like Rajan to turn against the government. He pulled his Hat, threw it and shouted, "Damnitt!! Rajan, you bloody scoundrel.!!" Stinson knew something was wrong with Rajan. He was happy that it came out. Stinson immediately ran out of the room and took the car to the hospital. He wanted to catch Rajan very badly. But all he could here from James was that Rajan escaped.

The Governor-General was banging the table with anger. Stinson returned and informed him that Rajan escaped. Already irritated by the betrayal, the Governor-General threw his watch away. He then asked Stinson to start searching for him and left to his office. Stinson then asked the guards to bring Rahman from his cell and release both Sitaram and Rahman. Listening to this Anamika jumped with joy. Stinson then came out of the Jail and called James. "What happened has happened. I need you to do a very important thing. Subhash Chandra Bose will be arriving at the airstrip tomorrow. You have to take care of him throughout his trip of Madras. It's a direct order from the British Raj. And if you fail to do so, the consequences will be worse than you ever expected. Be careful." He sends James and turns to Sitaram, who just came out with Anamika. "I am really very sorry Sitaram. I hope you and Rahman get that job in Air Force. Thank you Miss Anamika for accompanying us. We will surely look into your problem, once we finish our present commitments. Thank you again." Stinson then left.

Bose was boarding his flight from Kolkata to Madras. He was waiting in the lounge and the attendant started calling his name saying that he has received a phone call. "Are you going to initiate Phase-2? I think it is the perfect time to do it, as Phase-1 was a success. Don't let us down Bose" said the person on the phone. "No. No. I will make sure Phase-2 happens. I have been following your work and philosophies for sometime now and all you need to do is have some trust." Bose replied. He then left the lounge to board his plane to Madras.
