I'm Happy I Met You [Completed]

Chapter Fourteen

Eren stands up and wobbles, he loses balance after standing up.

"How long have I been here?" he asks

"5 days Eren, if it weren't for your regenerative abilities, it would've taken you longer" Ryad states as he hands Eren his crutches

"Thanks" he says with his head hung low

"It's no big deal Eren, after all, we're supposed to look after each other" Mark puts his arms around Eren

"Let's go, someone's waiting for you" Elena opens the door

As the room door swings open, Eren was greeted by his friends. Mikasa was first to approach him, Armin follows second. He was glad that everyone was there, but someone's missing. His eyes scan the crowd before him, then he spots her.

He approaches, he lightly taps her shoulder. She turns around, her eyes widen.

"Eren!" Annie exclaims as she gives Eren a light hug

It took Eren a whole minute before returning the hug that Annie has started. He was so shook that he got to see her again, alive and well.

"Oh Annie, you have no idea how much I've missed you" He buries his head in the crook on her neck

Tears started forming on her eyes as she tightens her grip on Eren.

"Eren, I've talked to Six about..." Annie was cut off

"I've got it covered, Eren will soon be back to you. We'll just have to deal with some papers. Then he's all yours" Elena holds Annie's shoulder

"Thanks a lot you two, you guys have done so much for me and Eren" Annie thanks the two operators standing in front of her

"It's no big deal, as long as I get to be the uncle' Ryad points to Elena 'And her as the aunt of your kids, then we're good" Ryad smirks

Annie and Eren just stood there, trying to process what Ryad had just said.

"I'm just kidding you two!" He shows a flashy grin

Eren shakes his head and laughs. He reached down in his pockets and grabbed his phone and dialed their restaurant.

"Let's head to our restaurant, it's the least we can do" Annie and Eren stand by each other then smiles

They head off to the restaurant. Without Eren's consent, Sasha and Connie were already at the buffet line getting whatever they wanted to eat. Meanwhile, Ryad was outside inhaling the cold winter air. Elena goes out to meet him and both sat down on the nearest bench. Both share a gaze which turned into stares.

They both look away from each other, blushing madly. Silence engulfs the air as the two quietly sat there.

Elena breaks the silence "Now that we've done our duty, what d'you suggest we do now?" she asks

Ryad looks at her with seriousness in his eyes "You tell me" he smirks

Elena blushes while Ryad scoots closer, removing the distance between them.

"I don't think you've noticed but I've had my eyes on you for quite awhile now" Ryad says as he holds Elena's small hands

"I noticed, and it seems like we're on the same boat" She gives him a light peck on the lips

"Let's take it slow?" Elena asks

"Sure" Ryad agrees

They both stood up, hand in hand they entered the restaurant. It was 6:30PM when they finished, all separating, going their separate ways.

"So Eren, planning on starting a family?" Elena asks as she stares at the now fading light emitting from the sun

"Yeah, I have for awhile now" He answers as he tightens his grip on Annie's smaller hands "How about you two?" He asks

"I dunno, we haven't talked about it yet" Ryad says while glancing at Elena who's still watching the sun set

"Sure, why not?" She looks at Ryad

"So this is goodbye?" Eren asks

"Don't say that, rather 'til we meet again" Ryad corrects Eren

"See you two around" Eren says as he opens the car door for Annie

"Yeah see you" Ryad replies before Eren leaves the two

"Shall we go?" Elena asks

Ryad nods.

A/N I'm really sorry for ending it here, it's because I have no more ideas for more chapters. And this really REALLY long hiatus of mine is getting on my nerves. I hope you guys forgive me for this really short update and me ending this book here and now. School just finished last week, and I wanted to take a break from writing then. Again I'm really sorry, I hope you guys forgive me. 'Til the next books. See you guys.
