Chapter Eleven

Guilty
Those words rang in Eren's ear.

Eren's revenge has been done, Damien was dragged away to a military truck and brought to jail.

''Shall we go Mrs. 'Jaeger'?'' Eren asked in a smug tone

''I don't know, maybe we should get to the church first'' Annie replied

''Why the church?'' Eren asked

''Umm... No reason~'' she stared off

Eren smirks and decides to play along

''Well, we're here. Now what?'' Eren asked

''Let's go to one of the chapels'' she pulls him

''A-Annie careful, you could've tripped and hurt yourself'' Eren said with care

''I'm fine'' she retorted

Then he heard the priest and was shocked to see what and who were there at the chapel.

Their friends and families were there, roses were on the floor. Little ring bearers and flower girls surrounded the two.

''W-what?'' Eren asked shocked

''Remember when I said 'It's Mrs. Jaeger' before?'' She asked

''Yeah, but I don't see why this is conne- nevermind, I get it'' he cuts himself off

''Congrats Eren!''

''When are we going to eat? I'm starving''

''Be quiet baldy!''

''Who you calling baldy?!''

''SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!!''

''Sorry Mr. Shadis''

Everyone stared at the three in confusion but then laughed, even though the situation was worse. And in embarrassment Jean left the chapel.

Then the wedding ceremony began, the two got married then went to the reception.

''How'd you plan all this under my nose?'' Eren asked

''Well a girl has her secrets'' she said

''Well I don't care, atleast I got what I wanted'' Eren said

''Me too'' replied Annie

''Hey Jaeger, congratulations on your wedding day'' Levi said nonchalantly

''Yeah congrats Eren!'' Said Petra happily

''Thanks'' said Eren and Annie the same time

''Hey Eren, seen horseface?'' Connie asked

''Nope, haven't seen the horse. I'll go pony riding with Annie later'' said Eren trying not to laugh

''Hahaha Eren, well played!'' Connie managed to squeeze out while laughing

''Alright buddy, see ya!'' Continued Connie

''Have a good one!'' Eren semi-yelled

''Have you seen Jean?'' Asked Eren silently

''No, ever since they were embarrassed he left'' replied Annie

''Oh, well. That explains a lot'' replied Eren with a tone of satisfaction

Eren's phone vibrates, he answers

Hello? Who's this?

I'm just here to finish what Damien has started

Eren dropped his phone and tried to push Annie aside

''E-Eren'' Annie said while losing consciousness

''ANNIE! ANNIE NO!'' Eren says while shaking Annie

He then picks up the phone again

YOU JERK HOW COULD YOU he shouts

Congratulations to the newlyweds

End Call.

As Annie was brought to the hospital the second time, Eren didn't stay with her. But trusted Mark to guard Annie for him.

''Hang in there Annie, I'll be back later. I love you'' he says before leaving

He then heads off to the HQ to find Six along with six new operators. Lesion, Ying, Ela, Dokkaebi, Vigil and Zofia.

''Who're they?'' He asked

''They're newly recruited operators'' Six replied

''Oh, well then'' I said

''Now I'm counting on you and Mark to train them'' she replied

''Yes Ma'am!'' I saluted

Eren then returned back to the hospital where Mark was staying with Annie.

''How's she?''

''Terrible'' replied Mark

''Oh god, It's all my fault'' I said, with a tone of depression

''No it's not'' Mark retorted

Then Annie started to flatline

''No.. Annie? Annie! MARK CALL THE DOCTOR!'' I shouted as I continue to shake Annie

''Oh god. Stay with me Annie, STAY WITH ME!'' I say as the doctor barged in with the defibrillators

''Stand back Mr. Jaeger, Mrs. Jaeger is in good hands'' he states

After a few moments of hearing charge up sequences and thuds, nothing but a flatline was heard.

''Sorry Mr. Jaeger, we couldn't save her'' said the doctor

''YOU SAID THAT SHE'S IN SAFE HANDS!'' I replied angrily

''Mr. Jaeger calm down''

''Eren chill out''

''CHILL OUT?! MY WIFE JUST DIED! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CHILL OUT!?!'' I asked

I then stormed off, got in my car and sped off to HQ

Eren's eyes' start to change colors from green to red, he then started to vibrate. He was a blur, he then fell out the car.

''How?'' He asked, confused

-Meanwhile-

''Sir, the speed force has been disturbed. A new speedster is in the city''

''Oh.. it's about time..''
