Sodapop: Good morning, how'd you sleep?
Pony: Hi. I slept alright
Pony: Why did you leave so early for work
Sodapop: Steve just wanted to talk to me, that's all
Pony: He did? Why didn't he just text you?
Sodapop: Well it's always better to talk in person
Pony: If it's important then yea
Sodapop: When you get older you'll understand
Pony: I will?
Sodapop: When I was not much younger than you, I didn't get why people took each other to dance at school. I thought it was kind of weird that some perfect stranger could walk up to you and ask you to prom.
Pony: Is that why you dropped out?
Sodapop: Lol no
Sodapop: I had a lot more to learn than just sitting at a desk all day and reading useless stuff about goldfish
Pony: You learned about goldfish?
Sodapop: Sorta, maybe in the 9th grade
Sodapop: Other than finding out they have a terribly short attention
Pony: Wow that is kinda useless
Sodapop: Exactly, besides, a job can teach you a lot more than school can with time and experience
Sodapop: That being said, school can also teach you important things that a job won't
Pony: Like what?
Sodapop: Those poems you read
Pony: Why might they be important?
Sodapop: You read them all the time, so they must be an eye catcher
Pony: Yea, they really make me think
Sodapop: So maybe there is some truth in saying that you need school
Pony: So if something matters to me then it's worth learning about?
Sodapop: Not just in school
Pony: If something matters to me then it's worth...
Pony: Anything :)
Sodapop: Now you're getting it!
Pony: I think I know now
Sodapop: Know what?
Pony: I know what I need to do
Sodapop: Ok
Sodapop: Don't forget
Pony: What's that?
Sodapop: Tomorrow's my day off
Sodapop: Steve and I are going out, you best come with :)
Pony: You sure?
Sodapop: Yes
Pony: Where are we going?
Sodapop: I'll tell you later
Pony: Okay :)
