I got the idea to start writing this book from the song "Ghetto" by August Alsina 😍.
I guess you can say it's an Urban novel. This is first time writing you guys so bare with me please.

Waking up to baby hollering, people arguing, and sirens are a usual in my neighborhood. If it's not one it's other. You see I'm from Chicago. Almost every corner has a dope dealer on it. I forgot to mention I live smack dead in the middle of the "GHETTO"
Today is Monday so I'm doing my usual routine getting up & getting ready for school. It's my senior year & we're approaching the end of the year. hallelujah 🙌
I get up & start getting ready. I hear momma in the room arguing with somebody but I don't have time for that right now, I don't wanna miss the bus. I don't have much to choose from so it's fairly easy to find out what I'm going to wear. (A floral top with my pink skinny legs & some sandals), something simple. Even though I don't have many clothes I try to keep the ones I have decent. I go start doing my hair which doesn't take long cause I have extensions in my hair. I brought this hair myself from saving & doing other people sew ins. I curl my hair real cute & put on light makeup & I'm finished. I slip on my clothes & out the door I'm headed. While I'm headed out I hear momma hollering & crussing. I also hear a male voice. I have no idea who it could be cause momma forever bringing different dudes in here. But suddenly I hear my momma yelling "HELLLPPP" I run to get a knife out the counter drawer & head to mommas room & when I opened the door I was not at all prepared to see what I'm seeing.
