Chaeyoung's PoV
(A/N: This is set a few hours after the previous story and I am using my current time which around 7pm)
5 hours left to Mina's birthday and I plan on surprising her at exactly 00.00 AM, which is at midnight. I ran to all the rooms except for Mina's and told them it is a birthday emergency and to gather in Jaewon's room
"It's big here" Jeongyeon said to Jay and he just shrugged looking at his laptop
"Are the edits almost done Jaewon?" I asked while approaching him
"Yes, all you need to do is set up all the things you need. I have borrowed a projector so I can project the mini-movie on her wall" he said and putting away his laptop "All saved. Don't worry baby cub, she'll love it" he smiled and I smiled back
"Okay, why do you keep wearing mask around the house? It bothers me" Sana said and Jay just shrugged "And who came up with the sweet romantic idea?" we all pointed to Jaewon "Him???" Sana's eyes are just wide open
"Listen up girls. In order to set up the surprise, we need Mina...OUT of the dorm" I said while looking at her and suddenly Jihyo snapped her fingers and said "Why don't me, Jeongyeon, Nayeon and Tzuyu take her out like maybe to the movies or restaurant and you can text me when you are done?" we all nodded and agreed
"Okay so the rest of us will help with the decorations, including you Jaewon" Dahyun smiled while hugging Momo
"Sheesh, get a room you two!" Jihyo shouted making us laugh while making them pout. Meanwhile, the 2Yeons hugs each other too in front of Jihyo making her roll her eyes
"Alright, we got our mission" Jaewon said "but wait, don't we need someone to buy the stuff like balloons and stuff?" Oh yeah he got a point, I mentally cursed myself for forgetting that
"Sana, you buy the balloons with the letters that we need to make "Happy Birthday Mina" meanwhile Jaewon, you go buy the cake because I don't trust Sana with the cake" that made everyone laughed and made Sana do the TT pose "DahMo, you two...eh...never mind, you help me with the decorations by going with me to JYP Building to take the penguins. Got your missions? Great, let's go"
--JYP Building--
Me, Dahyun and Momo went to JYP Building and run as fast as possible to JYP's office. Before we we enter we noticed the JYP entrance has already put up a banner "HAPPY MINA DAY". Omo, my penguin is so cute. I blinked couple of times and run up to the office along with Dahyun and Momo
I knocked on the door "Excuse me JYP-nim, we are here to get the penguins for Mina's surprise birthday" he gestured his hand to let us come in and we took the penguins "Gamsahabnida JYP-nim" I grinned and went down
"This sure is heavy" Dahyun complained and I just laugh it off.
Once we went down to the lobby, we waited for our ride to come and when it did, we throw everything in and head off back to the dorm. In the car, I texted Jihyo to get Mina out
To: Thomas the Microphone
Have you get her out?
From: Thomas the Microphone
Not yet
Seriously? And here we are heading there
To: Thomas the Microphone
We are going out now. Go do the decorations
We arrived and went up to the dorm. Dahyun and Momo went inside the dorm to check if she is really gone and they signaled me to come in
"Let's go" I said and bring all the stuff to Mina's room
Your PoV
It's a good thing Chaeyoung left me in charge of the cake or else, Sana will really destroy it. I drove Sana and myself to the mall where she could buy the decorations and I could buy the cake. I am not splitting up with her since she can get lost...that is how clumsy she is.
"We will meet at Starbucks. Text me when you are done" I gave Sana my other phone number, good thing my phone accepts 2 SIM cards and she nodded "Try not to get lost"
I went to the bakery to see the cakes they have on display. It might take time since I don't know what to get and on the other side, I am really worried that Sana might get lost so I texted her with my secondary SIM card
To: Clumsy Squirrel
You aren't lost...right?
From: Clumsy Squirrel
I am NOT that clumsy Jaewon -_- and I am already at the store
I laughed and put away my phone and found a cake with penguin decoration
"Excuse me, can I have the cake with penguin decorations?" the employee nodded and took out the cake "Do you have birthday candles?" the employee pointed out to the corner and I went to get the number 2 and 1 and went to the cashier and paid everything
I went to Starbucks and saw Sana
"All done?" she nodded "Let's go then"
--Dorm--
We went up to the dorm and went inside Mina's room. Damn, that is a lot of penguin she is putting on her bed
"Momo, can you buy rose petals in the nearby flower shop?" Chaeyoung asked and Momo nodded
"Looks good baby cub. I will go get the projector and my laptop" she smiled and I went to my room to grab everything
--Few minutes later--
"I'll project it from here" I adjust the projector to the wall and help Sana with the balloons and hang them up in a different side of the wall
"Looks perfect" Chaeyoung said while setting the rose petals on the floor and on the bed "the cake?"
"The fridge, I will take it out 5 minutes before Mina arrives" she nodded and I smiled. This is really perfect, I hope Mina accepts Chaeyoung
