Chapter 4

Y/N's POV:

As Camila was looking at my laptop replaying the track over and over I decided to mess with her

"Wanna know what i bought at the store?" I asked her

"Yea sure" she said while not taking her eyes off of the screen

I grabbed the black plastic bag and took out the things inside

"Wow I wonder which ones are the bops" I said

She finally faced me but then looked away. Then she did a double take and her eyes widened

"No stop. You didn't" she said

"Dude this is so cute" I said as I opened the first cd and looked at the booklet

"Stop where did you find these?!" She asked as she tried snatching the fifth harmony cds out of my hand

"They were at the store I was at earlier" I said with a laugh

"Why would you buy them?!" She asked trying to grab them from me

"Because I wanted to see what you were like when you were younger" I said

"Why?! Is the way I am now not okay?!" She asked

"Of course but I wanted to get to know you more" I said

"You could've just asked" she said

"But why ask when I could see and hear" I said trying to sign on to YouTube

"Stop y/n I don't want you to see this" she said

"Just show me one thing" I said she bit her lip and finally groaned and began to type on my keyboard

She played the work from home video and I have to say I was completely stunned.

"Damn who's that she's fine as hell" I said

"Who Lauren? Yea she gets that a lot" she said pointing to the green eyed girl

"Oh she's pretty too but I meant the dark skinned goddess" I said completely drooling over the magnificent women

"Oh that's Mani" she said "well normani"

She went on to explain to me who was who. She explained her relationship with each member and how they ended up falling out leading to the departure and so fourth

"I'm sorry you had to go through that" I said

"It's okay. It's over now" she said

"Do you miss them?" I asked her

"Yea.. honestly sometimes I do" she said

"I'm sure they miss you sometimes too" I said truthfully and she let a small smile appear on her lips

"Well thanks for helping me out with the song y/n" she said "I really appreciate it"

"It's nothing really. I only added what I thought sounded best but take it to my dad or have him call up i don't know Pharrell or something to work on it more" I said

"Psh yea right like Pharrell is going to want to work with me" she said

"My dads working with you and he gets compared to Pharrell" I said laughing

"I guess anything can happen right?" She said and I laughed nodding

"Definitely" I added

We fell into a silence. I was tapping my fingers on the desk but then I looked up to catch her eyes just staring at me as If she was reading me like a book
