Chapter 33

Y/N's POV:

"Relax you got this" oscar told me as he patted my back

I hesitantly opened the door of the studio taking a deep breath

I swung the door open and saw a room filled with producers, engineers, and song writers

Along with Camila her manager and her mother

Camila's head shot up once she heard my name being called

Oscar and my manager pushed me inside.

I greeted the people I was familiar with as well as the ones I didnt know

Camila stood up shaking my managers hand and then went to oscar

"Hey oscar how are you?" She asked as she hugged

"Great. How are you?" He asked with a smile

When she got to me I shifted a little awkwardly and gave her a silent wave

"Hey y/n" she said returning an awkward wave to me

Before I knew it I felt a small body wrap around me taking me by surprise

"Hola mijo" i recognized sinu's voice

"Sinu hey good to see you" i said hugging the woman tightly

"Ay i missed you so much" she hugged me tighter making me smile

I could feel Camila's eyes on us. She had a warm smile on her face

When we pulled away I went on to get aquatinted with the team but before we could get down to business my father walked through the door

"Oh who invited you?" I said jokingly

"Good to see you too son. But this wouldn't be happening without me" he said making everyone laugh "now lets get started"

I guess he was going to produce the song

"Okay so we made a demo already with a beat that we think you'd like, Camila has already heard it and she loves it" my dad said as he began to pull up the files

I stood leaning on the sound board waiting for it to start.

He pressed play and soon the room was filled with this infectious latin sounding guitar and bass

I could see Camila's head slightly bopping along to the music as was everyone else

"What do you think could you work with it? I know you're picky" my father said

But truth be told I did kinda like it. It was groovy and certainly had a catchy vibe to it

"Yea it's cool" i nodded my head and everyone smiled in relief

"Camila and some of the writers came up with a possible hook already and we want to build around it. Lets play the demo with Camila's vocals" my dad said

I stared curious to hear that they already had an idea in mind. I was afraid we were going to have to start from scratch and build a song piece by piece. But if it was already started it should be easy and fast to finish

The sound of camila's voice then echoed through the room making goosebumps appear on my skin
