"Lucas is going to be my first date." Riley said. "First date!? Why???" Maya thought. A little bit of jealousy came over Maya after Riley said that.

No, no, no. This isn't happening. She likes Lucas? Why?
I know he's perfect, but I want her.
"Maya, hey!" Riley said, running up to Maya. "Hey sweetie." Maya said. They hugged each other.
"I have to tell her." Maya whispered to herself. "Tell me what?" Riley said hearing what Maya whispered. "I... it's nothing." Maya told her love. "How was yesterday?" Maya asked. "It was okay. Lucas was nice." "Maya, I have to tell you something." Riley told Maya. Riley took Maya's hand and took her over to the bay window. "I like Lucas, but just like a brother." Riley told Maya. "Riley, I love you..." Maya finally told Riley.

"Peaches." Riley said, smiling. Riley pulled Maya into her arms and said, "I love you too Maya." Maya smiled and cuddled with her best friend.
