Find Another Girl

Maya's POV:
I woke up late, as usual, and went downstairs to fix breakfast. Riley was already up and Topanga has already fixed breakfast and went to work. Joshua was still here, which made me growl. "Maya! What's wrong?" Riley asked, noticing that I'm awake. She walked over to me and put a comforting arm around me. "I'm alright Riles." I assured her, then gave "Mr. Try to steal your girl" a glare. "Woh! Are you sure you alright there?" He said and I snarled. I looked away from him and said, "I'm fine. What's for breakfast?" "Bacon, Pancakes, Eggs. The usual." Riley said and walked me over to the table, hand in my hand using her thumb to rub the sides of my hand to calm me down. She then whispers, "Maya, I can tell something's wrong. I know you." "I'll be okay sweetie, nothing to worry about." I assured her again. Joshua was just staring at us until he got a phone call. He picked it up, and before I knew, he left without warning. "Hmmm... I wonder what that was about." Riley said. I shrugged and ate my breakfast.

Riley's POV:
I could tell Maya must've been jealous of Joshua, which was very weird. Intriguing, even. I tried to ask her what's wrong cus she always tells me these things, but she strangely avoided telling me. She's been acting very protective lately, which is good I guess, but when it comes to being jealous of one of my old school friends, I feel like she might scare Joshua away. I think it would be good to talk about it in the bay window soon.

Maya's POV:
I ran looking for Joshua a few minutes after he left. I was going to give him a piece of my mind.... BAM! Before I knew it, I ran into him. "You..." I whispered. "Who... me?" He said stupidly. I grabbed his shirt collar. "Good, you heard me. Glad you're not deaf after all." I said with a chuckle, "Look, Whatever you plan on doing with/to Riley, I advise you to not." "What do you mean, Maya?" He said, trying to sound innocent. "I see how you look at her, don't play me. Just, don't think about it Romeo, cus she's not your Juliet." I let go of his collar as I pushed him to the ground. "Oh, you are a strong, independent lady, Hart." He snarled. I smiled angrily at him. "You're nothing but a douche, that's what I expected.." I said. "And.. you're nothing but trouble without your sweet and innocent Riley." He said to me with a baby voice. "Well, you're nothing she wants... so don't try it mister.." I growled, "You better find another girl, one who is just like you." He chuckled, "So, you?" "Sorry bud, off limits." Not bad Hart... not bad." I backed away from him. "Where you think you're going?" He said, "I thought we were just getting started...

I guess Maya was right about him...
