Maya's POV
Riley went home after school. I went out walking and trying to find Lucas. I need to get him to stop acting like this, but how?

I spotted Lucas and Charlie Gardener at the park. They must be planning something. I head behind a rock and heard them talking. "C'mon dude, Riley actually doesn't deserve this. She's nice and kind." Charlie said. "Charlie, what's gotten into you? You know she hurt me." Lucas said. "Yeah well you'll get over it. Riley is a good girl, and I believe her choices are also good."

I then heard a slam. I looked over a little and saw Charlie laying on the ground. "Bro, there's no ... need ... to be acting like this." Charlie said, choking on his words. Lucas took him by the shirt and said, "Maybe you're right..."
"But maybe you're wrong." He slammed Charlie back down on the ground.

I left because I didn't want to see any more. "How could Riley make him selfish and rude? Does Riley mean that much to him?" I thought to myself. I walked home, and on the way there I checked my phone. 2 messages from Riley. "Maya, you there?"
"Please answer."
"Yeah Riley I'm here." I texted.
"Please help. Lucas ..."
"Lucas is there?"
"Where are you?"
"Riley?"

I put down my phone and started running. I ran to Riley's first. Mr. Matthews answered. "Maya, Riley's not here." He told me. "Where is she?!" I asked him. "She went out walking. She wanted to go to Topanga's." He told me. "Thanks Matthews!" I said, running away.

Oh Riley, please tell me he hasn't done anything to you.
