Dipper's P.O.V.

What do I do now? Do I tell him that I like him or wait for him to say something, if anything? Definitely the second, though the thought of him maybe never knowing was truly unbearable.

"Mason!" the teacher snapped, "Quit daydreaming and follow along please..."

"I am," I bit back, frantically flipping to my page in the text book. I saw a few students gifting me pity looks before returning back to their text books. This has been happening to me all day, and as the pity glances suggest, this is not usual for me. How has everything changed so quickly? How come years of denial fell through?

The teacher's droning lecture claimed the remaining hour of the class before we were released to lunch, which is what I've been waiting for all day. Even just being able to glance at Bill from across the cafeteria will be enough to make my day. Ugh how embarrassing...

"Hey Pines, you made it!" Bill exclaimed as I passed his table.

Oh I'm sitting with him then, how daring...

"So how has your day been, terrible or just average?"

"D-definitely average," I replied quickly trying to pull ahead of my racing heart. How did you go from mortal to god so quickly, Bill..?

"Hmm, so should I just pretend that you're not acting weird and continue on as normal?"

I had noticed by now that my gaze was hard stuck on the wall away from Bill. For the first time since our not-date, I took it upon myself to look at him. My eyes trailed up his body until they locked with his deep amber eyes, which inevitably made my heart leap into my throat.

"What's wrong?" he asked with an inquisitive eyebrow raised.

"N-nothing's wrong.." I replied quicker than before. I can't determine at this point if I'm winning or not. I think my heart still is faster.

"Oh please, I can't believe that..."

"I mean, something's right! I-Ithink anyways, though it's scary too. My head has been spinning all day. Everything seems different now and I don't know why.."

"Oh," he responded, pausing for a moment before continuing, "So what is it that's so right but scary and different?"

Is this when I tell him? Should I risk it all just to see if it will work?

"I... Can't tell you right now," I nearly shouted before stopping to take a deep breath. We're going to be normal about this...

"It's a whole, lengthy conversation that's going to take some time to go through," I finished. Ok I'm winning now. Slow and steady does it...

"Well damn, ok then. We'll discuss it when you come over," he replied smiling warmly down on me, as he reached out and ruffled his hand in my hair.

I nearly sighed out to the sweet touch on my head, hoping that it would last longer than it did.

Wait, I'm not actually going to tell him, am I?

A/N: Oml guys, getting this chapter to you took so much blood and tears. Freaking Wattpad kept on pranking me yesterday and deleting my chapter. I had to rewrite it 3 times, no lie.
