E: "Aeryn, we're going on a date now."
A: "A - a date?"
E: "Yes."
A: "Er, where?"
E: "We're going to have a picnic."
A: "Um, okay, cool, I've never been on a picnic before."
E: "I've got all the food and stuff, we just need to find somewhere to go."
A: "You didn't think about that part until now?"
E: "I - no. People usually just sit in a field, right? Like in the movies, it's all romantic and all that."
A: "Not when you phrase it like that."
E: "Ah, well. I know where we'll go, it's close by, don't worry. How's Pringle settling in?"
A: "Really well, actually. She sleeps in my room at night, I put her bed in the living room but I always find her in the morning curled up on the end of my bed."
E: "I must have her next weekend, she is so cute. Almost as cute as you."
A: "...wha-"
E: "Here!"
A: "What?"
E: "We shall picnic here!"
A: "We're by the tree house."
E: "Your observational skills are top notch."
A: "Oh, shut up."
E: "..."
A: "Eli, how much food did you pack!"
E: "Er, enough..."
A: "We're not a family of ten!"
E: "That's irrelevant."
A: "No it's not!"
E: "We eat like a family of ten."
A: "...that's true."
E: "..."
A: "Did you make all this yourself?"
E: "Yep. I was planning on us spending the day out here so I made sure there'd be enough. It took a while to prepare, but it's worth it."
A: "You planned all this without telling me?"
E: "Surprise!"
A: "You're an idiot, but an idiot that makes nice food, this is really good. I could get used to you cooking for me."
E: "Dad hates that I like cooking. I cook all the time for mum at home."
A: "Your mum is a lucky woman."
E: "I'll cook you a proper meal soon."
A: "You will?"
E: "Yeah. I mean, if you want, you don't have to, I just assumed you might-"
A: "Eli."
E: "Yeah?"
A: "I do."
E: "Knew it. No one can refuse my cooking."
A: "I like you a lot better when you're stuttering."
E: "You like me all the time."
A: "I'm going to carry on eating and ignore you now."
E: "Sure."
