The idea for this chapter came from @digimarshmallow [thank you!] who suggested they go to a Haunted House, which some of you, and I, thought was a really good idea, so I hope this is okay!

E: "There is absolutely nothing on this Earth that will get me into that building."
A: "Eli, it's Halloween!"
E: "So?"
A: "Haunted Houses are traditional!"
E: "No, knocking on doors for sweets in scary costumes is traditional, not willingly walking into one of these hell holes."
A: "I tried out amusement parks for you!"
E: "How come the one day you get excited about is the one I hate?"
A: "You can't hate Halloween. It's a night of dressing up and getting free sweets from people you don't even know."
E: "That bit's alright, it's just this."
A: "We came all the way here and you don't have any transport to get home until later, we have to go in."
E: "Aeryn!"
A: "You're scared!"
E: "...not scared, I'm just-"
A: "Eli, that's adorable."
E: "I'm not adorable and I'm not scared!"
A: "Of course."
E: "Come on Aeryn, we're going in."
A: "Finally!"
E: "..."
A: "See, this isn't so bad, is it, Eli?"
E: "No, I guess not. It's just dark, and loud, and hot. But not scary, this is - AHHHH!"
A: "What!"
E: "OH MY GOD! That thing just leaped out in front of me!"
A: "Eli-"
E: "Where's the exit, I'm leaving!"
A: "Eli you're-"
E: "I am so done. I am a new level of done."
A: "Eli, you're, um, you're holding my hand."
E: "Oh, er, so I am. Sorry about that."
A: "It's fine!"
E: "Yeah, I was just protecting you from that thing that jumped out at us, didn't want you getting scared."
A: "My hero."
E: "Why is everyone staring at me?"
A: "You screamed like a small child."
E: "It wasn't a scream it was a-"
A: "It was a scream."
E: "It wasn't, I-"
A: "You screamed."
E: "Fine, I screamed, but we're still leaving."
A: "Sure."
E: "We can go trick-or-treating instead?"
A: "That would be great. I don't really like Haunted Houses anyway, just wanted to see your reaction."
E: "Aeryn, you are infuriating."
A: "Thank you."
