Chapter 11: The Search

"This way," said Jackie. She let them to what appeared to be Dylan's notorious "haunted closet" where the previous owner's wife's cousin's uncle haunts. The closet was full of a bunch of random crap from Dylan's previous videos. "There should be some stuff in here."

Then, the five of them searched and scavenged for items that could be of use to them.

"I found something!" Brody shouted from the one side of the closet.

"Brody. It's a closet. You don't need to shout." Max stated.

"Sorry. But look what I found!" Brody held out his hand and in it was a small container of "homeless people repellent". It was clearly from the "Weird Things You Can Buy Online" video series.

"Rude but useful. Put it in." Christine stated as she handed him the backpack.

"Here! Look what I got!" Max stated as he put on a sparkly wig. "Don't I look...FABULOUS?!?"

"Yes now quit fooling around and get back to work." Jackie stated.

"Yes mam!"

Within ten minutes, they have acquired everything they needed for their rescue mission. Along with the repellent, they have some fireworks, matches, flashlights, walkie talkies and some cheap perfume that could definitely make someone go away. They threw everything in their backpack and headed to the door.

"Okay. Are you guys sure you will be okay doing this?" Jackie asked.

"Of course! Trust me. Nothing could break us." Sheila reassured.

"Okay then. Do you have everything you need?" Jackie questioned.

"It's all in the backpack. And you're going to be okay right?" Brody asked.

"I'll make it. I am going to go to my mom's with Pickle. I will let you guys know if I hear anything else." Jackie stated as she hugged everyone goodbye and gave them her number.

"Bye!" The four teens said in unison as they got into their car.

"Bye!" Jackie concluded as she put Pickle in her car.

Then Christine, Brody, Sheila, and Max left Dylan Samm's house and headed to what awaited them in the woods: hell.
