Hayley P.O.V

"HAYLEY!" I hear mommy yell, from downstairs, I groan not wanting to pause the video on YouTube, or moving from my comfy bed. I stayed in the same position, still watching the video until, she yelled my name louder. I groan, rolling off my bed, and trotting into the kitchen. Where mommy, Annie, And Daddy sat down at the table.

I take a seat in front of them, and fiddle with my fingers. I took a deep breath, and looked at them.

"Yes?" I asked, looking at them. I remembered, that Daddy said, he wanted to talk to with me after lunch with the Summeralls.

"Well. Hayley. We want to know what you feel." Daddy said, softly looking at me in the eyes. I fiddle with my fingers, faster. "What do you mean?" I ask, looking at them nevorusly.

"What do you feel about this family as of right now." Mommy replies, as she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Well...um, I guess umm...." I felt my breathing pick up fast, I hated talking about these situations, it made me feel nevorus.

"It's okay, Hayley you can tell us." Mommy says softly, looking at me with concerned.

"I felt like I was invisible," I start taking a glance up at them, then looking down to my fiddling fingers. "I was barely called out, I was barely in any activities and when, I wanted to talk, Annie or someone else will speak over me. But, nobody noticed, they just kept talking, and thats when I realized I was invisible. I didn't think, you, guys will make me more invisible, but I was wrong. Sometimes I tried talking mommy, but you always went up to Annie and asked questions. When I really needed to ask something you pushed me away, and I felt my heart sting. But, didn't think much of it. Nobody paid any attention to me, and I felt lost and confused, but mostly hurt." I say, finally looking up at them, my walls broke, of everything I felt.

I looked up at them, and saw Mommy, eyes glistening in tears. Daddy looked at me, with pity, and Annie nodded at me, looking at me with the face, 'you did the right thing.'
