Day 25: My Time With Lucy

Natsu pov
I am currently in Gramp's office getting a lecture...again." Now Natsu I know you are a good kid deep down...very deep down, and I am sorry to say this, but I cannot allow you to go to prom tomorrow, I'm sorry." Gramps said. I looked at him with wide eyes, I can't go to prom, but it is my senior year I have to go....think Natsu think.

" ..... But Gramp's what will I tell Lucy," I looked up to see his confused face," I mean I did ask her to prom 
* sigh* and she was so happy... She told me that she got her dress already...oh how will I tell her the news." I finished.

When I looked at Gramp's I saw the biggest smile ever.... What did I get myself into. " Well well well Natsu I wasn't expecting that. I am truly happy that girl must be overjoyed after all she does well ya know." I looked at him confused," Anyway I will see you both at prom remember to meet with me so I can see you both." Gramps laughed.

"Alright Gramps will do." I got up and walked away fast. As I was walking I saw Lucy and thought it would be a great idea to ask her now, but she walked into the bathroom. " Hey Natsu." I looked at the small person in front of me and saw that it was the girl metal head likes...Leva
...Lela...Lava... LEVY!!! " Hey Levy what's up" I tried to sound cool.

" Well umm Natsu this is kind of hard to ask well... Iwantyoutoasklucytoprom." Levy said quickly. What on earth did she say, she must have saw the look on my face because she repeated herself.
" Natsu I would like it if you could ask Lucy to prom and please make it special for her please." Levy begged.

I smiled " Well that works out great because I was planning on asking her anyway." I said and looked at Levy and saw a shocked expression which turn to a small smile. "Thank you Natsu you have no idea how much this will mean to her... After all it's her last chance at freedom... Anyway I want you to make a big proposal k."

I looked at Levy confused and watched as she walked away to meet up with Lucy again. What did she mean by 'last chance at freedom'.....AHHH my brain hurts why is thinking so hard.

*time skip*
After thinking I decided to take Lucy on a picnic and then when it gets dark I will tell her to close her eyes and when I tell her to open she will see fireworks that spell will you go to prom with me? This is going to be great I hope she will say yes.

I went to look for Lucy and as I was looking I had received a text message from a unknown number

I looked up from my from my and looked around in hope to find a answer somewhere being as stupid as I am. I saw nothing that could help me. Out of the corner of my Lucy walking with her friend and they were wearing the same exact outfit as the picture. I ran up to Lucy and scooped her into my arms princess style. Until we were at the spot I was planning to ask her to prom."Natsu why did you pick me up and start running." Lucy asked.

"Well I wanted to surprise you ," I said as I lead her to the location," You see Luce I want to do something special for you and well look." Lucy looked up and smiled the brightest smile ever and than what scared me most was her starting to cry." Thank you Natsu...well shall we start." She walked over to the blanket and food that she thought I had set up, but it was Levy.

Time skip
I told Lucy to close her eyes and I grabbed my flashlight to give Levy the signal to start the fire works and she responded by clicking the light three times meaning that I had to wait 3 minutes. " Hey Natsu can I open my eyes now." Lucy giggles.

"Oh right.... Okay open." I said as I showed Lucy the stars, she doesn't even know what going to happen.
" Wow so pretty, the stars are so bright tonight." Lucy gasped.

As she was looking at the stars a firework flew in the sky catching her attention and than several more exploded in the sky in a beautiful arrangement of colors. "Will.you.go.to.prom.with.me.lucy" she looked at me with confusion and hope that I was not leading her on. "Well Lucy will you go with me." I pulled out two tickets for the prom and looked at her expectingly. "Yes I will go with you Natsu," she smiled," but don't you think you are cutting it close I mean prom is tomorrow." I just smiled glad that she said yes, but sad that I hadn't meet her sooner.
