one month (a sad nalu story)

Day 14: I'm fine

Lucy pov
Finally I am out of that dumb hospital and on my way to school. I'm actually very happy to be going to school mostly because I am having a normal life before it all goes to hell in several days. As I am walking into the school gates I see the girls and I yell to them and when they turn to me they all start bombard me questions so I take them to a place where no people are to tell them the news."Girls listen I finally know what my disease is..."after I tell them I see them start to cry." Hey girls its alright the doctor said that I was not going to feel any pain though I will be losing my some weight and hair and I might become paler, it will be alright I am currently continent on how it is. Now I need to talk to Natsu."I said, I got up and left.

Time skip

As I am walking in the hallway looking for the person I need to talk to, I see him taking some money from a freshman....when will he ever learn his lesson." NATSU DRAGNEEL!! Stop bullying the poor kid and give him his money back now." "But lucee" "NOWW!" Natsu shoved the money into the kids chest and told him to beat it.

"Luce why did you stop me I need the money." Natsu whined out." I stopped you because you were being mean to the kid, you are senior and you need to act like one. You know I'm not going to be here forever, so you need to learn that people need respect and that you should be nice to them." I said feeling accomplished in lecturing Natsu.

I looked at Natsu and saw a look of sadness on his face and it made me feel guilty." Luce I know that I need to do that and that I will try my best from now on, but what did you mean by saying that you're not going to be here forever."Natsu said looking at me with his saddened face. Oh no now I feel really guilty,"....um I meant that we are getting older so I won't be able to stay next to you and always watch your back cause.... we might go to different .....colleges yeah that's right and who know we might both choose different paths in life."I quietly spoke out."Yeah I guess your right but for now I want you to always stay by my side ...well anyway I need to go to class don't want Erza lecturing me again." He said running off.....was he blushing.

After lunch and every class the girls checked up on me. I always told them the same answer "I'm fine" ,but that's a lie the truth is I'm in pain because my medication to ease the pain is wearing off so... I am in pain. But its nice to know they care about me. The only thing that pains me more is that I have to lie to Natsu the man I love and want to spend my life with.

Time skip

The final bell just rang and its time to go home, so I go to the gate to wait for Natsu to walk together like always..well when I am actually at school and not in the hospital.

You have got to be kidding me I been waiting for over a hour and it is pissing me off where the hell is he. I decided to walk into the school to look for him.*crash* what the hell was that. I look over the corner and see three guys surrounding a guy on the ground that looked a lot like Natsu.....OH MY GOD THAT IS NATSU!!!

Why on earth is Natsu not fighting back he needs to fight back. " no matter what you say I'm not going to fight back so beat me up all you want I won't do it because I made a promise to somebody that I won't cause any problems and if I don't cause any she will want to stay with me... So beat me up I don't care." I heard Natsu say. That idiot why did you take it so deeply please fight back. "NATSU YOU IDIOT IF YOU DON'T FIGHT BACK RIGHT NOW IM GOING TO LEAVE YOU!!!" I yelled at him.

"... Lucy why are you here."I heard him say"WHY I WAS DOING GOOD SO THAT YOU WOULD STAY WITH ME AND NOT LEAVE ME LIKE YOU SAID YOU WOULD!!!" I was taken aback from what he said. I looked down knowing that he wants me to stay with him. "Natsu I know you want to stay with me but I want you to fight back so...I DON'T WANT YOU TO TAKE ANY SHIT FROM THESE PEOPLE YOU HERE ME!!!" I screamed

"OK that was sweet but are you done with your little lover spat cause I want to finish my revenge on this punk....so paul tim hold the girl."the guy said. Wait what hold me. Just then two men grabbed me, I started to scream and move around. "God this girl is a pain in the butt do something about her." One of the guys let go of me so I tried to run, but next thing I know is that I am pulled to the floor and am knocked out by the guy.

Time skip
Natsu POV
After I saw Lucy get knocked out I lost it they hurt someone important to me, she never did anything wrong and was hurt. I got so angry that I attacked everyone till they were all on the ground bleeding, I was also bleeding but only a little bit was my blood the rest was theirs.

I got up and looked around to find Lucy and I saw her on the ground still when I got closer to her I noticed that she had bruises on her arms from them holding her and also she had a cut on her nose probably from getting knocked out. As I was staring at her body on the ground I noticed I was crying because I let her get hurt and couldn't protect her.

I got up and dried my tears picked Lucy up and took her to my house since I don't know where hers is. I need to hurry to since I am a man covered in blood holding a unconscious girl in my arms. And with that I ran home.

Time skip
I waited a couple of hours for Lucy to wake up and she did after about 3 hours of sleeping. The first thing she wanted to know was if I won and I told her I did. After that she stayed for dinner and I walked her home so I learned where she lived. It was a small house with a tattered roof and a broken fence but there was a nice garden. I asked Lucy about it she told me that she was working on it with her dad before he left. After a bit of talking I decided to go home and get some sleep unprepared for what will happen tomorrow.
