one month (a sad nalu story)

Day 29: I wish

I know I don't have much longer probably only a few more days, but I want to spend these days to the fullest. Natsu has noticed that I am getting paler so I started wearing makeup. Its a good thing he isn't smart cause when he asked me about why I'm so pale all I told him was that I needed some sun and he just believed me.

After a nice long shower filled with singing, winning fake arguments and thinking I decided that I should head to school and hang out with Natsu. I got dressed and put on some makeup to at least make me look alive, I walked to my door and grabbed my keys to the house and a jacket and headed out. I decided to walk since I don't live that far from school and I normally walk anyway, but nowadays Natsu drives me unfortunately I think he is in the middle of 3rd period. I see the school gates not that far away maybe like two minutes, I walk toward the gate and look around to see if there are any guards. I safely make it inside the school grounds and make it the area Natsu's class is normally I would go inside, but the doors are locked. I looked up trying to catch his attention from the ground because our class is on the second floor. I pulled my phone out and went to his contact.

Natsu POV

Here I am sitting in my boring class I think its math but it might also be science , god I wish Lucy would get better soon I have no seat mate.

I noticed my phone buzz in my pocket and I secretly pull it out so the teacher won't know and see that I have a text from Lucy

L: hey Natsu wanna hang ?!?!

N: I can't I am in class, but I wish I could

L: then just leave silly

N: oh your right I can do that

N: where u wanna meet up??

L: Natsu look out the window

N: umm ok

I look up from my phone and lean towards the window and see Lucy at the bottom waving for me to hurry up. I raise my hand and get the teachers attention " Sir I have a ummmm emergency" I said

He looked me up and down and laughed " And what kind of emergency do you have Mr. Dragneel" my snotty teacher spoke.

I looked him straight in the eyes and said " A lady emergency sir, you see I sadly am on my man period" I got up and walked to the door looking back at the classroom of laughing teens and a dumbstruck teacher. I snickered as I ran down the hall with my backpack I finally to get to the door and see Lucy waiting for me in all her beauty.

"Hey Luce long time no see, what do you wanna do today." I asked, she looked up and smiled walked towards the gate. I of course followed her and followed her, finally she stopped at a ice cream shop.

" Natsu I want you to spoil me today so first buy me ice cream and you will learn what's next after this okay." she gleamed and ran into the store. I just followed behind her, I loved watching her happy expression, I love her little mood swings , I love her.

I looked at the cashier after she finished her order and it was $20.87 I stopped and looked at her with a gapping mouthing. " Sorry everything just looked really good Natsu so well I got everything." I looked at the cashier and looked at Lucy again " Lucy that's too much for you to eat by yourself." She looked down then looked back at me giving me puppy dog eyes," But Natsu its for the both of us and I didn't know what flavor you liked soo." I sighed and gave the cashier my card.

We sat down and started eating the ice cream and after awhile we finished and Lucy ran off again this time to the bus station. I followed behind of course not knowing her plan, but I was just happy being with her. Soon enough we arrived at the mall and I had a feeling I was going to be dragged from shop to shop help her buy clothes, but I was wrong she was choosing clothes for me.

"Hey Natsu what do you think of this one." Lucy spoke, I looked at her holding a black button up shirt and just smiled then she looked around and also got me black slacks and a black jacket. " Lucy what's with all the black," I laughed and then saw her saddened expression, " Lucy are you okay."

She perked up and said she was fine and walked up to the register buy the items for me and walked out the store. She stopped and looked around trying to find a store, soon enough she walked away towards a piercing and tattoo shop and she walked in. I stood there in shock but soon followed and I saw her talking to the tattoo artist and gave him a piece of paper and he looked shocked at first then sad but he smiled anyway. " Natsu come here you are getting a tattoo" I looked at her shocked.

"What why?!?!" I said looking at her " Because I said so Natsu so stop being a baby" She scolded and that was how I got a tattoo, hell I don't even know what it is. After getting ice cream, shopping, and getting a tattoo we finally headed home.

We were walking under the night sky and to me it felt like we were the only people in the world. " Lucy I had fun today it was painful but fun." I laughed, I look at the sky and then her and she had a sad face again but it changed as fact as it came, " I had fun too Natsu I wish I could spend every day with you." Lucy giggled. She leaned over and hit my arm in the place I got the tattoo and then that's when I saw it.... SHE GOT HER NAME TATTOO ON MY ARM!!!
