Day 27: Time With My Family

Its the day after prom and guess what I'm back at the hospital. They decided to run more tests on me to help them better understand my condition and to help the next person who has the same problem.

Lately I have had time to think about life.. All the things I'm going to miss and the people. I know that I will miss my friends, but I see them all the time. I heard the door opening and I saw both my mom and dad walk in with blushing faces, I guess they have always loved each other and I am happy to see the together again.

"Hi mom, dad..... I see you have been busy" noticing the messed up hair and lipstick marks," umm so I was wondering if we can go out like a family, like the old days" I said smiling.

"Dear I would do anything for you but you know your condition and that might not be possible, I mean your having trouble walking." My dad spoke. I looked down wondering how I can get out of the hospital and without anyone from school getting curious if they see me." Ahhhh how about a wheel chair and cast, then no one will be curious and I won't have to walk."I exclaimed, I looked at my family and they smiled and nodded.

Time skip

We arrived at the park we used to visit when I was a child and I saw the the old play ground, the ice cream stands, the old gazebo..... Everything was still the same, I smiled to myself happy hoping that this place will never change. For some time I was in a very peaceful place until.....

" Lucy is that you!" I heard a voice yell out to me from the playground. I was frozen knowing who was calling out to me it was him. "Hey Natsu what's up." I said

"Hey Lucy why are you in a wheel chair and cast..... and who are they?" Natsu questioned me, and without noticing the rest of the group came over also.

"Yooo bunny girl what happened to you, you look worse than before." Gajeel's comment was then proceeded by a hit from Levy. " Well since you all are probably wondering why I am in a wheel chair and cast is because I hurt my self in my heels last night and sprained my ankle and my dad here is a little over protective so he did this....oh and that is my mom Layla and my dad jude he runs the Heartfilia hospital." I explained.

I looked at the girls and winked because they need to know that in lying and the boys wouldn't catch on because they are stupid as hell. "Well guys I had fun talking but I'm spending the day with my family so I gotta go bye." I said as I wheel away into the sunset.

After that we got ice cream, ate at my favorite restaurant, and watched the city light up with lights. "Lucy dear its time we get back to the hospital." My father said, I looked up with a sad face trying to get a little more time watching the stars. He looked around and let me have 5 more minutes I looked up and started to name each constellation with joy.... My favorite is leo, I call him Loke, its just suits it ya know.

Soon my father came to retrieve me and we headed back back to the hospital. The whole ride back I was watching the stars slowly falling asleep.
