one month (a sad nalu story)

Day 26:Almost time pt.1

Lucy POV
It is the day of prom and I am currently at the hospital, they decided to do a checkup on me before hand. I still need to get my dress too, but the doctor said to come and this is the doctors orders.

"Ms Heartfilia how are you feeling today?" Dr Marvell asked me holding her clipboard tightly. " Well Dr. Marvell in my opinion I would rather knew what news you have for me." I responded. She sighed and told me the news," I looked over the results and have learned that you most likely have a few days left to live... I am deeply sorry and today is your prom too." I sighed knowing that was what she was going to say.

Time skip

After about a hour Levy came to pick me up for last minute dress shopping since Natsu only asked me yesterday.
"Hey girl are you ready to get your dress." Levy said practically jumping from her seat. I giggled at how much of a child she is,"Yes Levy well let's get the best dress ever."

When we finally arrived at the mall we went into the first dress shop that we saw and of course Levy didn't let me chose a single dress since she wants to do it. I was sitting in the dressing room with the robe they provided to me, I started to look around the small room paying attention to the time so we won't stay to long and as I was waiting the door opened.

All I could see was a huge pile of dresses of every kind and color. I was amazed how could someone do small carry so much." OK Lu time to try on some prom dresses, I'll wait outside try on whatever one you want first." Levy chatted as she walked out the door.

Time skip

Finally after trying on like fifty dresses I am in the last couple of dresses. I try on a dress that was absolutely beautiful red dress

I walked out of the dressing room and came face to face with Levy who was holding like 20 more dresses for me to try on. Suddenly she dropped them all and started to cry," Lucy you look so beautiful, Natsu is going to love it. I think we got the dress." Levy gleamed .

" I'm glad you like it Levy because I love it, now let's buy the dress and get ready." I cheered. I got out of the dress and carried it to the counter to pay and then when the total came out left insisted on paying for it, but I denied. "Come on Lu just let me pay for the dress my family has enough money to cover you too." Levy pleaded.

I only smiled and took out a black card and she stared at me," Lu where did that card."

"Hehehe oh my dear Levy have you ever met my father, he gave it to me just for today." I smiled, I looked at the lady and she took the card and we paid for the dress. "Lu seriously, I don't even know anything about your father ......you wanna tell me about him."Levy asked.

" hmm OK, well I haven't really known him for long considering he left when I was little and left mom and I with no money, but I met him recently and he is paying for my hospital bill ....I mean he does own the hospital, but he wanted to try to fix things before I go." I smiled

I looked over at Levy and saw that she had tears in her eyes, "OK lu let's go and make this the best prom ever." Levy shouted as she ran to the car.
