Shinichi and he were supposed to only have a game night, just two best friends playing a game and nothing more, and that was exactly how it happened. It only later occured to him that Shinichi didn't have a Super Mario in mind when he suggested they have one. He could have got himself the moment he got enlightened. How much of an idiot could a person be?

It was obviously just a mere step away from a date. Shinichi meant for things to evolve into something more than just friends that night; the Osakan missed out on making out with his crush! It was clear as a day that he was supposed to initiate a more intimate relationship between them that night and yet, he fucjed it up. Didn't see through the spiel in time and now, now his crush might think that he wasn't interested in him in such a way, when he obviously, very much was. Talk about mixed signals.

He did, at one point, think about how he might have interpreted it all wrong and his previous thinking process was alright, but he sure as hell didn't want to think that his crush didn't saw him the way he did him. It hurt, being rejected like that.
