"You're absolutely sure?" Rose asked.
"Exodious threatened her in a dream." Sarah added. "It is absolute."
Rose stood from her throne and began to pace, which was something that made me even more frightened than the fact Exodious planned on coming back to life.
"Amy!" Rose bellowed.
The old Seer stepped into the throne room.
"Did you know?" Rose asked.
"I did."
"And you neglected to tell me?"Rose snarled.
"If I had told you, nothing would have changed." Amy answered.
"Next time you will tell me what I need to know!" Rose bellowed.
Amy just shrugged.
"And the Prophecy?" Rose asked.
Amy cleared her throat and spoke:
"War of Gods will spark her rise,
When The Flower cries the Goddess will die.
The world will fall into endless night,
And all the demons will join and fight.
Siblings chose sides and blood will spill,
One will stand alone against her will.
To save or destroy is her choice alone,
For only one chance to send the beast home."
Rose listened quietly as if in deep thought. I knew she was good at translating prophecies but she still seemed at a loss.
"Do you know if we will fail?" Rose asked.
"There is only blackness at this point." Amy answered.
Rose growled. "The three of you, leave me." she told us.
The three of us bowed before leaving. Amy didn't say a word and just walked away.
"What do you think it meant?" I asked Sarah.
"I don't know." Sarah answered. "Whatever happens happens. We can't change the future, just embrace it." With that she walked away from me.
I was laying in my bed staring at the ceiling when Emma and Alexis burst into my room. I sat up quickly and met their frightened faces.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Agora is storming the castle." Emma said.
"What? How did he get in without us knowing?" I asked.
"I don't know. But we have to fight now. There's no time to prepare." Alexis said. I jumped up and ran through my Shades who possessed me as I ran through them.
I ran down the steps and found Kira and Aviri as they slaughtered some fledgling vampires who broke open the doors of the castle.
"How did this happen?" I asked.
"Agora used the blood moon to hide his scent. We can't sense each other because all the vampires are stronger." Aviri said.
Alison leaped over the railing and charged forwards, shifting into her werewolf form as she charged out the doors, leaving a trail of blood and corpses wherever she went.
"What happened to the villagers?" I asked.
"Dead." Kira answered. "All of them were slaughtered in the night."
"And Rose?"
"Here." Rose walked down the steps, silver armor covered her body. The statues beside the door came alive at her presence and stepped off their pedestals and bowed to her. They were massive suits of armor with huge battle axes.
"Go get your armor. I'll hold the door with Alison until you're ready. Then we bring the fight to Agora, where I will tear the very heart from his chest." Rose's eyes were blood red, showing off her rage.
I was shoved into an armory where Kira put the silver armor on me. The whole time she looked sad and broken.
"I'll be okay." I told her.
"I know." She told me.
"Go get ready yourself." I told her. She nodded slightly and left me.
I adjusted the chest piece so it wasn't so loose and looked at myself in the reflection of a shield on the wall. I was wearing a full suit of armor leaving only my head unprotected. Bells and Kat along with a few other servants were dressing in armor.
"You can fight?" I asked Bells.
"Very much so." Bells answered.
"I hope you come back alive." I told them as I looked sad.
"We intend to." Kat smiled. "Because when we do, we're getting married."
Bells's face turned bright red.
"Since when were you two together?" I asked.
"For years. Just in secret." Kat smiled. "She didn't want people to know."
"Congratulations." I smiled.
"Thank you." they both said.
I grabbed a sword and left the armory. I attached the sword to my hip made my way to the door. Rose was killing fledglings with Luna who was in her werewolf form. The statues had left and were fighting in the village.
Alice leaped over the railing and took her place beside Kira and Aviri who were suited up. Alice wore the same silver armor that everyone else did. Xena joined them wearing the same armor. Then Sarah stepped out wearing leather armor that was dyed silver. Bells and Kat ran past Rose and out into the Village without a word.
"What's the plan?" Kira asked Rose.
"We push." Rose answered. "We show no mercy to him and slaughter him like the animal he is."
Serana and Jade walked down the steps in bronze armor. Serana smiled at me, wishing me luck. I could hear the Spriggans and Fairies behind me as they charged from the gardens and ran past us and into the fight. The fairies were human sized with wooden armor and stone weapons, but there were so many of them.
"I want Agora's head on a plate." Alice snarled.
"Then lets prepare dinner." Xena added.
Avalar and Avalon were no where to be found. I wondered what they were doing.
Without another word, Rose charged forwards and out of the castle. Without a second thought, the rest of us followed.
