i walk into my home, making sure to slam the door behind me, pretending that nadia is behind it.

ew, nadia.

an aroma of amazing smelling food hugs around me, going straight up my nostrils, making me instantly relax. i'm really hungry as you can tell. i chuck my car keys onto the table next to the door, sluggishly walking into the kitchen, tensing up whenever nadia comes into my brain, but then immediately relaxing when kenzie pops into it. 

"what's up with you son," my dad walks around me, scruffing my hair up, making me scrunch my eyebrows together. "girl dramas." he chuckles, opening up the fridge grabbing a can of coke out of it.

"oh! jenzie!" my mum pops up, turning around, trying to stir whatever is in the pot.

"jenzie!" lauren comes screaming out of the living room and plopping herself down on a bar stool next to me, engaging in our conversation. "your girl loves jenzie drama." she plasters a smile on her face, ready to listen to whatever i'm about to say.

a thought runs through my mind as i am wondering if i should tell them the story or not. 

"lauren, can i speak to you alone?" i turn towards her and then look back at mum and dad, both with a pout on there faces. "i'll tell you another time." i give them a small smile. i follow lauren up to her room, making sure to close the door behind us. 

"what's up." she smiles, jumping onto her bed. for me, i just sit on her desk chair.

"well long story short," i start. "kenzie and i went to the pier today, nadia turns up and tells a bg fat lie, that somehow kenzie thinks is true. the lie being i had sex with nadia, which i didn't! so kenzie thinks i was leading her on and now she's mad at me." i finish.

"your joking right?" lauren's mouth hangs open.

"no." i breathe out.

"so, jenzie could have happened today, but nadia had to ruin everything." she sounds annoyed.

"exactly." i huff, just thinking of the whole situation and ew, nadia.

"okay, i'll sort everything out." she taps her foot on the floor. "let's just have dinner and then think about it overnight and everything will be finished in the morning." she opens up the door, trailing out of her room.

"i'm trusting you on this one, lauren." i say to her, just as we are about to enter the dining room.

"night, lauren." i say to her, as i shut her door about to enter my room. "night, mum and dad!" i shout, before closing the door in my room. i walk over to my window to see kenzie's curtain shut.

i quickly change into my clothes i normally sleep in, grabbing my laptop off my desk and opening up netflix.

i love you mackenzie ziegler, but i don't know how to show it.
