"Our top story today, another grisly alleyway murder occurred late last night. There were no suspects, but video surveillance captured a body being thrown into an empty alleyway.
"We suspect a group called the 'Bangtan Boys' is behind this crime. They are extremely dangerous, so do not approach them, unless you want to meet the same fate as their last two victims."
"That was Sergeant Lang. If anyone has information on these murders, please contact the crime hotline."
They struck again. These poor people! They had lives, just like everyone else, and they had to have it ended so gruesomely. It's not fair! I was angry now. To let off some steam, I decided to call Seulgi.
"Hello?"
"Did you see the news?" I asked.
"Yeah. It's scary." she said.
"I feel so bad for their families." I said.
"Yeah, I would hate learn that someone I love got killed by some group called the 'Bangtan Boys'. said. "What kind of name is that?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Why's that important?" I asked.
"Because their name is super cheesy! 'Bangtan Boys'? What are they, a 90s rap group?" She joked.
"Whatever, you weirdo." I said.
"I gotta go, see ya." Seulgi said.
"Bye."
Seulgi never really took these things seriously. If it wasn't her family, she wasn't really worried. But because they were close to my apartment, and I was a witness in the first crime, she started to worry.
A few days ago, she asked if the police had found me yet to question me. They hadn't, but I was waiting for the knock on my door any day now.
I hadn't heard it yet, so I wasn't too worried. I got off the couch to make myself a sandwich. As soon as I took one bite of my sandwich, I heard a knock at the door, and I almost choked on the stupid thing. I got up and opened the door. Two police officers stood at my door. 'Just great.' I thought.
"Hello miss. We're just here to ask you some questions. Is that okay?" One of the officers asked.
"Yeah, that's fine. Please, come in." I said.
They walked in and sat in two chairs, and I sat on the couch.
"Please excuse me, I was eating a sandwich earlier." I said.
"Perfectly fine." The other officer said.
"Let me introduce myself and my partner. I am Officer Kang, and this is Officer Jung." Officer Kang said.
"My name is Min Charlotte. It's nice to meet you." I said.
"Now, Miss Min, do you know why we are here?" Officer Jung asked.
"You're here to ask about what I saw that day." I answered.
"That's correct," he said. "All we need you to do is remember what you saw, and then we'll ask you some questions, okay?" He asked.
"Yes." I said.
"Great, lets start!" Officer Kang said.
"So, I was walking back from school, and decided to take a shortcut that I knew very well. It was throughout the alleyway, but it cut down the walking time. As I got halfway down the alley, I heard a loud thud. I thought it was a stray animal, but the thud sounded heavy, like someone threw a garbage bag into the alley. I went to go look to see what it was.
All I saw was a dark lump in the middle of the path, so I used my flashlight to illuminate the path. I saw the guy laying on the ground, and when I got a little closer, I saw his head was bleeding. I got a little bit closer, and saw that half of his face was gone. I was horrified, so I ran home." I explained.
"Thank you." Officer Jung said. "Now, we will ask you some questions."
"Okay."
"First off, why did you decide to get closer to the body?" Officer Kang asked.
"I'm not to sure," I said. "Curiosity, I guess."
"I see." He said.
"Did you tell anyone else about this incident?" Officer Jung asked.
"No." I lied. I didn't want to bring Seulgi
into this.
He looked at me. "You do know if you are lying, we can find out."
"Yes." I said.
"Last question, do you believe that you were followed?" Officer Kang asked.
"After I ran home, I realized that what I did probably wasn't that smart, so if I was followed, those people would know where I lived." I said.
"What do you mean by, 'those people'?" Kang asked.
"Those Bangtan people, whatever their names are." I said.
"Why would you suspect them?" Kang asked.
"They've been killing people all around this area, so it's just a suspicion." I said
"I see."
"Well, thank you for your time," Both Officers said. "We will be leaving now."
"Goodbye." I said.Unknown POV:
"The feds came over."
"Did she say anything?"
"Just what she saw."
"We're gonna need to stay low for a few days, or kill on the weekends so something like this doesn't happen again."
"Sounds good."Thanks for reading! Everyone else will be introduced next chapter.
