Chapter 1
“Emily! Emily, get out of the shower! Mom's waiting for you to finish and if you don't soon we're going to be late, again!” Amelia, my twin sister, says as she pounds on the bathroom door. “Could you leave me the fuck alone Amelia? I still need to wash the soap out of my hair,” I scream back.
“Language!” my mom yells from the kitchen. “Emily, you have ten minutes left,” she speaks again.
Monday mornings in the Cummings household are the shittiest.
I do everything I need to do quickly and I get out just before my ten minutes is up. We get to school five minutes before the bell rings for first period.
Westfield High School. I swear, this school looks more and more like a prison each time I come back to it.
I spend that five minutes with my two best friends, Heather and Samantha who seem oddly at ease this morning.
It's only odd because they were always frantic, especially on Mondays.
“Here comes Hunter”, Heather says excitedly. “We're in the 10th grade and you still have a crush on this guy?”, Samantha says.
Heather has been crushing on Hunter Garcia since the 5th grade. I honestly don't know why she still likes the guy.
He is literally what fathers tell their daughters to stay away from.
“Hi”, he says to Heather he passes. Heather swoons and regains her mind after a full five seconds of staring at him.
“Hi, Hunter”, she says in a high-pitched voice. I look at Samantha and we both fake gag and then a wave of musk and testosterone hits me as the football team passes by and I catch a wink from Ethan Miller, the quarterback.
I literally feel myself go weak at the knees. I know it's clichéd having a crush on the QB, but he's just too darn hot not to notice.

{a/n_ I know this chapter was short but I'm still getting a hang of this. How do you think I'm doing so far?}
