Chapter 2

Buzz...Buzz...Buzz...
My eyes flutter open and see that Madi is calling me.
"Yeah?" I answer, my voice thick with sleep.
"Bitch! Get up! It's five thirty!" She says and hangs up. I groan and get myself out of bed. My long pastel blue hair is in a fishtail which I manage to get out that gives me pretty waves. Next I focus on my outfit. I pick out high wasted black destroyed shorts and a black crescent crop top with my old torn black Vans. I apply black eyeshadow and eyeliner before grabbing my bag, phone, and keys and head out.
Madi is already waiting for me outside in her car. I hop in and realize its only six. Score!
"Hey!" Madi says with a smile as I buckle my seat belt.
"Good morning, Sunshine." I say sarcastically. She rolls her eyes and drives onto the main road.
"So who's excited for fucking Warped Tour 2014?!" She smiles at me.
"Can't be."
"Whatever Ms. Grumpy. I have food in the bag at your feet." I see the lunch bag and open it up to see Monsters and other snacks.
"If I was lesbian, I'd marry you." I say, cracking open a Monster. She laughs and keeps driving. The sun is rising, giving off a nice golden orange glow that lights up the sky. I check the weather that says its going to be only 90 today. I pop in my most treasured album cd in. Asylum by Disturbed.
"Good god, not this again. I've probably memorized every damn song on this record!" Madi whines.
"Quit complaining! You know you like David's voice!"
"More like you like David's voice. Besides, these guys haven't made a new record in centuries and Black Veil Brides has! I know you like them too! Disturbed is getting-
"Madi, if you do not silence yourself, I will for you." I threaten. I give her my infamous death glare. She snaps her mouth shut as the first song comes on.
As soon as we get there, we grab are things, park, and then dash as fast as we can to the line. There are only about ten people there.
"Dude you ready for one of the longest waits in human history?" I groan.
"Yes, four hours of pure screams and exhaustion." She says.
Good lord. All this for music?
