I sat in my room as Johnnie takes a shower. My thoughts keep swirling. I can't channel them out. If I do, they keep flooding back in. What if Johnnie ACTUALLY cheats on me? What if he doesn't actually like me? What if...?
The list is endless. Finally I scoot them out of my head. None of it will happen.
"What are you thinking?" Johnnie asks. I snap from my little world. Johnnie stands at my side with a towel hanging loosely on his small hips.
"Nothing." I say with a fake smile. He frowns.
"Seriously, Ariel, what's wrong?"
"Nothing. Really." I answer. He looks at me before pinning me on the bed and tickling me. I tickle him back before both of us are out of breath. He pins me to the bed with his legs on top of mine. He holds his upper body up with one of his arms, the other stroke my cheek. He leans down and starts to slowly kiss me.
I rest my hand on the back of his neck and push him closer to me. He kisses me harder. He breaks the kiss to look at me.
"Ariel..." He trails off, looking deep into my eyes.
"Yes." I answer, already knowing the question.
He smiles and kisses me again. Soon his towel comes off and so do my clothes.
"I love you my beautiful mermaid." He whispers into my neck, leaving a trail of kisses.
"I love you too my beautiful angel."
