Chapter 8

After being bombarded with questions by Madi, she finally drops me off at home around two in the morning. Mom and Dad are sitting on the coach, watching a movie.

"Hey guys." I say sleepily.

"Hey sweetie." Mom says to me before turning her attention back to the TV.

"See you guys in the morning." I say, going up the stairs. As I do, I get a text. My friend Tori.

From: Tori

Hey dude, you going to Warped tomorrow with me?

Shit. I forgot she wanted me to go with her. I need to go though, I haven't seen her in months and I promised her I would be there.

To: Tori

Yeah dude. I'll be there. I'll be tired as fuck but I'll be there. I'll meet you at the venue. <3

I send the text and charge my phone and camera. I shove money, fresh water, sunscreen, a Cliff bar, ticket, and other stuff in my bag and take out the stuff I got.

Soon my phone buzzed again with a text. I thought it was Tori but it wasn't.

From: Johnnie

Hey Disney mermaid. ;)

I laugh and roll my eyes.

To: Johnnie

Hey Chipmunk Boy. :)

I'm seeing you again tomorrow!

From: Johnnie

Wait wut?!

Yay!!!!

To: Johnnie

Lol. I'm going to bed. Night!

I laugh to myself as I slip into a nice dream free sleep.

I wake at four thirty as my alarm blares off. I quickly stop it and get ready. I pin straighten my hair and put it in a side ponytail before putting a black lace and studded bustier on with high wasted black leggings since it was going to rain today. I put on waterproof black eye makeup like Avril Lavigne's and adjust my spider bite.

Quickly I realized that Johnnie and I both had two lip rings. I adjust my numerous earrings that can now be visible and put in my old nose ring.

Wow, I look different. But still me.

I leave a note for my parents and then I'm out the door and off the New Jersey. It takes about three hours since I drove early enough.

I park and see Tori already in line. I move up to her and tap her shoulder. She turns around and her eyes widen. She hugs me tightly and lets out a breath.

"Holy fuck dude!" We stand there clutching one another until the line moves.

"Hey TorBear." I smile.

"Hey Ariel." She returns the smile.

"I haven't seen you in forever! What the hell have you been doing in the damn time away from me?"

"Well I'm heading to LA tomorrow to persue my music career. And yesterday I hung out with the YouTubers basically all day. One in particular I might add." I say. Her mouth is practically to the ground and her eyes bulging.

"You. Hung. Out. With. The. YouTubers. And. One. In. Particular."

"Yeah and did an interview with Bryan, Johnnie, Andy, Ashley, and CC." I say quietly.

"Hey wait are you the girl dating Johnnie Guilbert?" Some guy in line behind us asks.

"You're dating Johnnie Guilbert?!" Tori looks like she's going to die.

"No! To both of you! We just hung out! We. Are. Friends." I emphasize friend.

"Holy crap. But still! You hung out with them! Johnnie especially!" She whispers.

"Yes I did. Now honey lets go before we don't get into this venue at all!" I say, picking up my bag and walking forward through to the entrance.
