Chapter 13

Hyejin walked across the crowds to the check-in, then walking in. She had only her purse and one luggage because she didn't want to carry anything heavy. She kept thinking about what happened a month ago, when she found out...

"Ms. Ong Hyejin" the nurse called, and Hyejin walked into the room.

"Hello. So, do you want to have a full check-up done?" Hyejin nodded, and several tests were done in the next half hour. She waited for the results, to find it was positive.

After passing through the immigration, Hyejin sat in the lounge, waiting to be called for the flight. She kept thinking about the choices she had been making all this time, and wether they were good. Some maybe, but others were terrible.

"Passengers for flight ______________ to Dubai, please come to gate ____, thank you..."

This is it... Hyejin got up and headed towards the gate. She looked around one more time, hoping to see Yunu before she leaves, but to no avail. He said he had work that day, and would meet if he could. She shed a tear, sad not being able to see anyone one final time, before finally entering the plane and taking her seat, which was in the front. After ten minutes it was time for take off. But something happened...

"Dear passengers, sorry for the inconvenience, but we will be delaying for ten minutes. Passenger Ong Hyejin, please step out in front."

Hyejin shot up at the announcement, thinking she imagined it, but it was repeated. She looked around, and saw how others were whispering amongst each other, and slowly got up, walking to the front, head down. She didn't know what was going on, and was scared. She stood at the very front of the cabin, and someone appeared from behind the curtain of the crew area. Hyejin recognised it as one of the pilots, but realised something else.

She was greeted with a smirk as the man took off his hat, the same smirk she saw five years ago on her first day of university, and the day she went to Ansan, and almost everyday when she was being annoyed. He kneeled down, holding her left hand, and put his other in his pocket. Hyejin stood there completely speechless, not knowing what to do.

"Ong Hyejin, will you marry me?" passengers and the crew cheered at the words as Yunu took out a ring from his pocket. Hyejin couldn't answer, and looked down. Yunu spoke again, but only so she could hear.

"Hyejin, I know." she looked at him, and he darted his eyes to her stomach, and back to her as he got up. She slipped her other hand onto it as Yunu put the ring on her finger. He hugged her, and she hugged him back, tears flowing down her face, when he suddenly whispered.

"Get off the plane. You can't travel like this." she pulled out, and nodded. He helped her get her things and walked out with her until they reached the gate. He stopped her and held her hands in his.

"I'll be back in two days. Here. You'll be staying with me from now on." he handed her his keys, and Hyejin hugged him again. He cupped her face and kissed her, then left for the flight. Hyejin went out and saw he had already prepared a car for her. She went to the apartment, and followed the driver's instructions to Yunu's place. As she went up the elevator, she held her tummy again, smiling this time.

It's all OK now, we're safe...

She entered the apartment, and saw that he actually had everything prepared. The main bedroom was now fixed for two people, and the extra room was made into a nursery. There were more things such as plates, cutlery and shelves. The last time she came here a month ago, there was barely anything since he lived alone, and was abroad most of the time. She walked to the bedroom and saw a note on the closet.

I've kept spaces for you, and everything else for the special one is already there. ( ˘ ³˘)♥

She chuckled as she read the note, and unpacked her things. Afterwards, she felt hungry, and opened the fridge to see what to eat, but there wasn't much.

He must've been busy with the house... she chuckled inwardly, and the bell rang. She checked the camera and saw two little girls standing outside. Confused, Hyejin opened the door, and saw they had a kid's play trolley behind them, with food containers in it.

"Hello, may I help you?" one of the girls, who had straight hair, spoke up.

"My name ish Haesoo, and dis iz my twin Jisoo. Are you Yunu uncle's wipe(wife)?" Hyejin chuckled at her words, and thought for a while before nodding. They probably wouldn't understand the whole engagement concept.

"Our mummy asked us to give you these. Eat alot aunty!" the curly haired girl, Jisoo, bounced as she spoke. Hyejin looked at the cart, wondering about it.

"Thank you. Do you want to come in for some juice?" the kids jumped as they yelled yes. They sat at the table, and looked around the house amused as Hyejin gave them two juice bottles.

"WOW! Uncle changed evwithing! Aunty is so rucky(lucky)?" the kids talked as they drank, and Hyejin listened to their baby talk, chuckling. After some time, the bell rang. Hyejin got up to check the camera.

"Who is it?"

"Hello. I'm the girls' uncle, here to pick them up." the man wore a mask, so Hyejin was hesitant to open the door, but the girls ensured it was their uncle by running to the door at the voice. Hyejin opened the door, when the man suddenly came in hugging her.

"Excuse me! What the he... Ha... Hansol?" she was about to push him away, when he pulled his mask down. Hyejin stood there, mouth wide open. She was shocked to see her brother here, and also at how grown up he was. Hansol hugged her again, and she could feel her shoulder getting wet.

"Hyejin... I missed you..." she hugged him back, and cried as well. She pulled him away to take a good look at him. He was taller, healthier and more handsome, but his cuteness was still there. She held his face to study it, and they hugged again.

"You're so big now... Hansol, I'm so sorry..." they soon released, and sat together with the girls, talking.

"How did you know I was here?"

"Isn't it obvious? Yunu planned it from the beginning, especially after finding out about your news." she looked away embarrassed. She doesn't know how he found out, and it would be the first question she asks once he returns. Her eyes then caught the girls.

"But, who's are they? Heesun's?" Hansol nodded, explaining about Heesun's marriage and the girls' father. Hyejin realised there was alot she didn't know and needed to catch up on.

"Where is she?"

"She's in court. She has a case today and will be back later. I was with Haesoo and Jisoo, and she called to tell me to do this. Yunu already texted us from before that you're coming here." Hyejin didn't know how to feel, but she was happy. She was finally back with her family, and together with Yunu, and a third person. She hasn't felt this way for a long time, and suddenly cried tears of joy as her brother hugged her again. Everything was going her way again, and it felt great.
