ASH'S POV
===========
I took the train to Kanto, and I found my mom waiting to drive me home. I confessed in the car how much I missed her, and when we got out, I hugged her for 3 minutes straight. I couldn't wait to see all my friends.
Everything just seemed to get better all of the sudden. Clemont and I stopped Giovanni once and for all, and Team Rocket was never on our backs. But every night before I go to sleep, I still hear the STUPID motto, etched in my brain.
"To protect the world from devastation!" and all that jazz.
I went into my room, and found nothing to be changed. All that happened was my mom cleaning it. And I could tell she sat in here for a long time, thinking about, who knows what, because of the butt-print on my bed.
Pikachu and I enjoyed my old room. Pikachu, i think had only been here once or twice, sleeping on my bed. Pikachu and I decided to see Brock in the next two towns, then Misty in the next. but before that, I needed to see Gary Oak. He could understand what I was going through. I had no idea what to do, I was away from home, and was stressing myself out. I just needed to relax, calm down, and hang with my friends. Something like that.
I told mom I was going to see Gary, and off I went.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went to Oak's lab to find Gary, sitting at the computer, reading fanfiction on a websote called Dotpad. I went to talk to him about my whole situation, and he suggested a Chinese place downtown. *facepalm* "No, really, it's realxing to just hang out there. That's where the nice people are." he said.
"I just thought you were talking about food."
"You're always thinking about food."
