For him I would stay happy until the announcement. His last wish how could I not complete it. I now risk glancing over at someone, I look at Celeste. She still is staring at me with those eyes that are telling me don't worry he will chose you. I then feel like I am about to start crying so I turn my eyes and start to look at the floor. I study the marble tiled floors, I notice there is a crack in one of the tiles.

"So now it has come to the time you all have been waiting for." Says Gavril with enthusiasm.
Gavril motions for Maxon, Kriss, and I to stand. Maxon takes a ring out of his pocket and turns toward me.

"You crushed us." Maxon says with disgust and sadness.

Maxon then turns to Kriss and gets down on one knee.

"Will you Kriss Ambers, marry me. Make me a better man with your love?" Maxon asks Kriss.

"Yes!" Kriss replies back. Maxon takes the ring and puts it on Kriss. Then he and Kriss share their 'first kiss'.

"My fiancé." Maxon says to everyone in the room. Everyone then gasps in shock, especially the girls that were a part of the selection. I can't take hold the tears anymore, I dash out of the room. I quickly pace down the hallway to my room and grab my luggage and dash to the car. Once I am in the car I break down in tears.
