Recap of America's POV: "Just a check up then we can go home, love." Elliot tells me as he opens the door and lays me back down onto the hospital bed."Okay, then it will be: just you, me and the little ones." I kiss his hand and Eliot leaves the room.
My forever is so beautiful.

⚠️ Important Notes:
1) I have gone back and killed Queen Amberley; because I wrote that part before I read the part about her life in her Selection.
***2) This Maxon's point of view would have happened when America was first admitted into the hospital because of Elliot's mother. ***
•••- Maxon's POV -
"Oh my gosh! Maxon look at this!" Kriss yells at me in shock, I stop writing and look up at her.
"Could you be a dear and read it out loud? I am working on figuring out how to get rid of the castes." I tell her as continue writing a idea down.
"Okay...ummm...America is getting married!" Kriss tells me ask she flips through one of her magazines.
"Oh, that is nice." I tell her as I feel tears blurring my vision.
No, don't start crying Maxon. She is not yours, Kriss is your wife and only she deserves you.
I inhale and exhale, as quietly as possible when I feel the tears slowly go away.
"Wife? I am so sorry for postponing our honeymoon; now canceling it. Could you forgive this foolish husband of yours?" I ask Kriss out of nowhere, telling to divert my mind.
"Maxon, I totally get it...don't worry about something as foolish as that—instead worry about the people of Illéa." Kriss says as she walks over to the desk and hugs me from behind. I release my pen and let myself completely snuggle into her embrace.
"I know you are hurt—we both know that I was never your first choice. That is okay—but you need to release your pain. How long are you going to live in pain and regret? I as your wife—no, friend am concerned. I think you should meet America, know that she is happy; because if you truly love someone you want them to be happy, cherished and most importantly loved. Look at her with your own eyes and heal." Kriss tells me and kisses my forehead.
"I love you for who you are, I can't see you in pain anymore. I need you to heal—for me, I know you put on a act in front of me; it only shatters me. Please stop stepping on my heart everyday. Maxon, go—go find her and heal. I love you." Kriss breaks out crying, I pull her on my lap—and turn her to face me; I hug her so tight as we both cry our hearts out.
"I will, but I need you to promise me that you will support me. I need you Kriss—as a wife. You promised to be there—you will be there, right?" I ask as I take her hand and squeeze it.
"Yes, I will always Maxon." Kriss whispers and kisses me.
"I love you." I tell her as we pull apart and pull her deeper into my embrace.
Kriss sniffles and breaks free from my embrace after a few minutes.
"Go bring her here, bring her before we break farther from repair." Kriss yells at me and shoves me before I pull her back into my embrace.
"I will." I mumble.
- Elliot's POV -
I hope this all goes well, my family needs to be safe. Otherwise, I will not spare my mother! She attacked my family—which is my bottom line. She crossed it, now she will suffer. I may sound heartless, but I have to be protective.
"Sir, are you Lady America's husband?" A guard in a uniform asks, his green eyes glisten under the artificial lighting.
"Yes, why?" I ask.
"Lady America as been summoned to the Illéan Palace by King Maxon and Queen Kriss." He states.
"For what reason?" I ask.
Why does that scoundrel want to meet my America?
"That I can't disclose to anyone, except Lady America." He tells me.
"Why?" I yell.
"I apologize, but I have to listen to the King's orders." The guard tells me.
Eliot, calm down. Why are you freaking out? He has no relations with your wife and you shouldn't let your jealousy get over you. Take deep breaths.
"Sorry, I don't know what got into me—but, she is getting a check up; wait here—she should be done in a few minutes." I calmly state to the guard and signal for him to sit next to me; he does.
"I have known America for the longest time, our families are friends." He speaks up, after a deep thought.
"Ever since she left the palace, I have been wondering what she was doing and praying that she would forgive me for what I did. The sleepless nights and worry filled days I had, now are wort it. I know you were meant for her. Don't break her heart, if you do—nothing can spare you from me." He says and the door opens, revealing America in a comfy striped dress. She looks at the person next to me and her hands go up to her mouth in shock; her eyes big. I rush to her side and grip her shoulders as I make her sit down in my spot. I crouch next to her and hold her hand. Eventually her other hand falls down into her lap and she lets out a unsure whisper.
"Aspen?"
