That's what he says, anyway. As much as he's told me, I still don't believe it. I mean, there are multiple people out there who could be his 'one' but it's me. I find myself often thinking about how many times he's said this to other girls. But there's something about the way he says it, the way his eyes sparkle, the way his voice deepens and his hand always finds its way into mine.
Then there was her. She managed to make a crack in our relationship. Only out of spite. She made me believe that he cheated on me. It was stupid and as much as he told me, I still didn't believe it. Then I found out. I found out she lied and after much crying, we forgave each other. He told me 'you're the one. Always the one.'
That's when it hit me. He means it. Even though there are over 7 billion people on this planet, I'm the one he needs, he loves and he cherishes with everything he has.
I'm the one and I'm proud because he's my one as well."
