"The only constellation I'll need to know is the Big Dipper. Everything else just doesn't make sense." Fukase huffed lying down on the cool summer night grass while I looked through my propped telescope. It was too late in the night to remember what time or day it was. Too quiet that crickets filled the air with their chirps. But dark and far enough from the city to see the bright tiny shining dancers in the night sky.

"Stars are amazing Fukase, you just need to learn more constellations! There might even be a very rare one that you wouldn't even know you've seen!" I exclaimed to him before turning back to look through my telescope, adjusting the zoom to focus on a certain area.

"What are you, the starlight keeper or something?" Fukase asked plucking out shreds of grass from the dirt.

"Why yes. Yes I am." I agreed jokingly and somewhat haughty. He softly sighed shaking his head at my response. I turned around and bent down to look him in the eye, startling him a little bit. "You know, constellations aren't the only thing related to stars. What's your zodiac?"

"An Aquarius....why...?" He asked sitting up in the grass and looking at me with anticipation.

"Is that so? You know, they say Aquarius and Sagittarius are very compatible. Very unique and creative." I said smirking and pretending to look back into the telescope. Feeling enthusiastic to show off my astrology knowledge.

"Ha. Sure." He scoffed in disbelief, laying back down into the grass. This time resting his arms under his head of red locks.

"Well understanding is high too with Aquarius and Sagittarius. Both are outgoing and very sociable."

"Well...you're not sociable. Therefore, it's wrong." Fukase pointed out with amusement to correct me.

"I'm sociable. Only to the right people." I retort with a smirk, looking back to see a flushed Fukase. "You can search it up if you want."

"Hey, I'll believe whatever you say. You don't need to prove anything to me. I don't need stars telling me that I love you."

"Excuse me what?" I exclaimed taken aback. Feeling my heart skip a beat and dismissing the telescope to eye him.

"What? What did I say?"

"What was that last part?!"

"What did I say...?"

"No, not that!"

"Uh...I-Uh...I don't need the stars telling me that I....love....our friendship...?"

"Bloody Christ you're such an idiot." I said turning around back to the telescope to hide away my blushing features. With my quickening heart beat echoing louder, I faintly heard Fukase laugh behind me.

"Ah? Where did Mr. Top notch starlight keeper go huh?" Fukase asked acting coy walking up beside me. He grabbed both of my hands and looked me in the eye. Instantly making my mind go fuzzy and blank with how close he was, intoxicating me with his natural smell of peppermint. "Anymore star facts?" My mouth had went dry at his sudden actions, which he seemed to be enjoying. As if he could sense how lost for words I was and how my throat hitched. You know Ollie, they say the closest star is the sun. But actually, the closest star is right in front of me." He said tilting his head slightly in attempt to look cute. Which only made my heart beat louder. Whether if he could actually hear it or not was unknown to me, but either way he continued on.

"Instead of telling me how compatible we are, how about you show me?" He whispered huskily before leaning in for a kiss.
